- Formed in 1982, the band comprised the punk pioneers Stiv Bators (The Dead Boys), Brian James (The Damned), Dave Tregunna (Sham 69) and Nick Turner (The Barracudas). The band recorded three studio albums and one live album before Bators ended the band onstage after a concert on 2 May 1989, at the London Astoria. During this time, they underwent several line-up changes, with a second guitarist Alistair Ward joining and with Tregunna departing, to be briefly replaced by Grant Fleming, who had been road manager of Sham 69.
In mid-1990, Bators was struck by a taxi in Paris during a bank holiday. He was taken to a hospital but reportedly left before seeing a doctor, after waiting several hours and assuming he was not injured. Reports indicate that he died in his sleep as the result of a concussion.
In the director's commentary of the film Polyester, which starred Bators, the director and producer John Waters stated that Bators' girlfriend Caroline confessed to him that she snorted a portion of Stiv's ashes to be closer to him.

@@trygg69 Takk for svar !
It sounds like they're chanting INCEST! INCEST!😂😂😂😂
@syddeberry6036: No it doesn't, it sounds like they're singing "New Church", which, in fact, they are. I suggest you take your laugh/cry emojis off to a good therapist, and sort yourself out.
