    love love Lo0o0o0o0ve this vid. I really appreciate how you get very specific and show us with the camera angles (like the kick back things at 0 degrees vs. 30 degrees) and the fact that you take the time to edit instructions over the workouts is extremely helpful . I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm going to give these a try tonight when the gym is dead. thanks a million

    Exercises/Explanations @ 2:02
    I really enjoyed filming/making this video for you all as it brought out the old researcher in me (I worked in 3 research labs during my undergrad years) and it really made me realize how much I actually miss research! Hope you all enjoyed this scientific approach to growing the glutes & thanks for watching

    Hello, I'm 67 and have loss a lot of muscle. I'm starting with the gluts. I ran across your videos as I searched for help in finding exercises that would help me get started. Thanks for all your help. This is week one, I look forward to working with you.

  • @LittleRedPoppies
    @LittleRedPoppies 7 лет назад +4

    Omg. I don't know why but I never realized there were scientific articles and studies done on muscle groups. As someone who studied science myself, this has been THE must informative video I've ever come across. The visuals are great, you don't dwell too much on the scienctific details, quick and easy to follow. I'm a visual learner so this is even more helpful than reading articles or watching videos. Everyone just shows the movements but you explain WHY certain movements are the best. I watched your growing hip muscle video too and now I'm really motivated to try these out at the gym

    Y’all this really works, you can even do it from home , I made my own barbell, and for the cable exercises I use the resistance bands you can hang on the door. I’ve been doing this for a year incorporating the side booty one as well. I get stares everywhere I go. Thank you Lucy 😍 don’t forget to drink your protein and do your glue activations 👌

    8:15 makes sense, because of the actual alignment of the gluteal muscle fibers...they're not straight up and down, but at that thirty degree angle connecting to the sacrum, coccyx, etc. great stuff. I'll try this form at home today.

    I'm so happy that I found your channel!!!!💙🙌🙌🙌 I'm more of a science/technical person who needs to know why and how things work. And this helped me realize how important mind to muscle training is, most of these RUclipsrs show you how to do an exercise correctly but yet they don't tell you why and what you are doing. I was over here thinking that the ass was all one muscle. Thank you!

    good tips I love barbell hip thrusts, really feel the burn in that one! I always struggle with deadlifts/squats on glute days, I have knee injury and a back problem but i can go up to 90kg on leg press but my squat max is about 20kg.. I've been training for over 2 years and I haven't seen hardly any glute improvement. flat butt syndrome lol

    Very good video and very informative. I have a question Lucy... I work at a place where i have to stand up basically 10 hours a day and i walk around a large showroom helping customers. At the end of the night i go home and sit for an hour or so and when i get up i get Hamstring cramps. Other people have suggested its a glute weakness issue where the glutes DO NOT work as much as they should because they are weak. The hammies are over worked to compensate. Will these exercises help with this issue or do you have another suggestion?? Should i do these and others with stretching??? Thank You
