Soul piercing!
A few days I came upon Khachatryan - An amazing artist! His pieces make me want to cry with joy...what emotion and feeling on the violin!
Sergey Khachatryan reveals his extremely superior intellect, touched with heart felt sensitivity to the interplay of pure, intense violin voices and floating intonation which provokes the imagination into the genius of Bach and beyond.
I use this specific album to work in my projects for several years now.. Its incredible how always found something new.. sometimes is dark and profound and some others is refreshing and touching.. That`s why I always return to Bach.
Last night I couldn't fall asleep, so after two hours of attempts, I decided to put my earphones on and listen to this. Needless to say, I immediatly fell asleep. In my dreams, I could hear this beautiful music.
covalente polare wait, so this music is so boring it put you to sleep?
Bravo !

The best of the History Sergey Khachatryan
Wow. He is amazing. This is one of the best performances and interpretations ever heard.
Khachaturian BRAND; unique sense of music; DEEP DEEP DEEP
His play is outstanding! There are many perfect string players today, but to have such a combination of everything perfect together with his unforgettable ideal sound(much more that just violin sound!)-it's so unbelievable!!!
I love Sergey Khashatrians playing. Totally astonishing! I've just been listening to his Brahms violin concerto. He single handedly lifts the entire orchestra into his fire and sensitivity and passion and the result is a stunning performance all round. Thank you Sergey for your dedication and spirit, that makes an old man very happy.
Bravissimo!
He doesn‘t only play Bach, he feels Bach!
Für mich der ganz große Geiger der Gegenwart, da fließt all das zusammen, was Musik ausmacht.
Can only agree with the other comments! Very similar to Szeryng. Bach's music is healing!
Graceful work young man, God bless you
Kachatryan is the future.

Such beautiful renderings! The Violin is a fantastic lively intrument. Thank you for doing it justice.
Fantastic! I like Bach so much.
Qué dulzura la Fuga 1. Majestuoso todo Maestro!!! Gracias por esta visión de Bach❤❤❤
His music touches my soul every time I hear it, just like the first time. It is perfect in every way.

What a unique artist. Such a natural way of playing, almost like breathing.
Erik Vertriest a very good métaphore

Fine playing. An unusually sensitive and sincere performance of the G minor.

I could not agree with you more! This has to be one of the finest, if not THE finest performance of these works I have ever heard!
Sublime........................................................................................................................................................................................
This music is the best to heal you from stress and gives you strength and positive thinking. Apart from it this violinist seems to have understood exactly that! Thank you JSBach!
And thanks to God creating our ears and hearts and for sending the Messiah as inspiration for Johan Sebastian Bach 1685-1750 the peace from God be upon them. Amen❤
Performances that go to the heart and soul of these works.

Stupendo Bach.
Pleasure to the ears.
This is beautiful.
Just finished listening to Perlman's version of this and was bored..... so glad I discovered this version: what a difference in emotion and precision.
Amazingly beautiful.
Is the music boring or is it the listener?
You find Perlman boring? cringe to that opinion
Perlman has always been boring.
😂
Outstanding. I really enjoyed your playing. Thank you.
Very consistent and solid playing.
Bravo!!

Marvellous and beautiful.
Musica bella dolce fantastica!
Fantastic!
I like listening but the breathing sounds I wish without. Beautiful performance keeping the time and rhythm the way Bach intended.
Meraviglioso
The melody around 1:40:23 is just stunning.
T'is a restatement of the main theme of the famous chaccone in D - (basically a baroque dance form comprsing of theme and variations) ; the 5th and last movement of Suite # 2... frankly what is stunning is Bach himself and everything he ever wrote... seems John Eliot Gardiner (and amzing conductor) just put out a new book about him... cheers!
Impeccable and moving!! This is the best performance I have ever heard for Bach Violin Solo.
chaccone: 1:32:35
WOW!!!
Gracias por subir esta maravilla!!!
Bravo
Thanks for sharing this.
amazing!
I loved it. Thank you so much
Amazing sound!

perfect! ^_^
Sergey, would you like to play a violin made by myself? It would be a great honor for me.
The Chaconne! Oh my material universe!
Amazing for the technique and for his sensitivity! Does he come sometimes to Paris? It would be great to hear him directly.

ehhhh "Perlman is the greatest classical musician! Something, something, the king of classic" ?!? right?
G'day, Astgh Aslibekyan! Beginning at about 1:16:09, would you happen to know what the term is for the pressing down and then releasing the bow that it sounds like Mr. Khachatryan is doing? I also hear it in the Chaconne in the slower sections.
Not sure, perhaps it is portato that you mean, which is about releasing the weight in the bow repeatedly. I think at that moment he is also playing near the fingerboard (sul tasto), to create a husky sort of sound.
@@nickyork8901 G'day, nickyork! Thanks for that reply. You say portahto, I say portayto. LOL
Do you teach? email please?
1:45:29 I´m marking this for personal purposes haha
^^
Its beautiful, but the breathing I hear is very distracting to my ears.
It is something annoying in the sound quality.
Get lost in this performance...
This must be great for vibrato lovers, but it's not so great for followers of baroque practitioners, e.g. the great Sergiu Luca, or more recently Rachel Barton Pine or Johnny Gandelsman, among others. Also the audio is full of fuzzy-sounding distortion: hopefully not on the original recording!
This version is too slow 🐌. On the other hand, sounds too romantic and 7sed a lot RUBATTO.
