I'm proud of Luther. I've seen him evolve over the past 20 years from a punk rocker to a world class guitar player. His dad would be proud. He always was.
love seeing rich smiling and enjoying it. i seen the crowes 28 times, rich solo twice and the brotherhood 4 times. the boys can stand alone and quite well at that.however,it's much better when their together.
I was at that Wanee and one of the main reasons was Rich Robinson hoping to see with Luther Dickinson and got one song but sweet . The other reasons were many I loved it . I get to see Rich Robinson with Bad Company at Noblesville then solo in Cincinnati Ohio and Ferdinand Indiana . My son and I got meet Luther Dickinson in Louisville , Kentucky and my son got to meet Luther Dickinson . Wanee next year for sure .
Man.... Rich's smile is just beautiful. Didn't see that very often in the Crowes. So nice to see him happy. And Luther is just a killer! Nice to see Marc back in the fold now too.
hippydippy couldn’t agree more.. I literally just caught Magpie this past weekend and Rich was definitely enjoying himself.. him and Marc were musically made for each other.. blew me away
hippydippy they hit the new album hard and heavy. They’ve put together some really good stuff. I got a killer video of them covering some Blind Faith as well.
Ever heard “high falls” by the Allman Bros? If not, check it out. You see where they got it. Not knocking, just sayin. Nothing wrong by being influenced/inspired by the Allmans!
Southern Harmony and Amorica....what am i missing? I've got all the discs , even the one with the out takes. are you talking about live shows or recordings?...thanks-
Ed White And Three Snakes...the tours and records were both awesome...the classic period of The Crowes...I have to admit though, that I really liked Luther as well...those last albums they put out were great, and so were the shows with this guy.
Three Snakes and 'By Your Side' too.....i saw them with Jeff Cease in '90 or so? and then 2012 and 2013? i guess...i loose track....but Luther was SO damn good....and he ONLY played slide, and i left there feeling ten feet tall....the tour with Jackie?....well I just left....he's great, no doubt, i listened to some of his solo stuff before the show for months, and i was excited about him being on the tour....but it just didnt seem as focused....the Robinson's were tired of the whole thing, seemed to me....but their Dad had just passed the day before, so maybe they were dealing with that too...a lot of bad emotions there.
Ed White Yeah, Greene is a great musician and a perfect fit for Trigger Hippie (which he sadly left), but w/The Crowes it was a different story...or maybe just bad timing, like you said. Audley Freed is also a very good player, but for some reason I never liked him, when he was part of The Crowes...
Reading some of these comments make me laugh. I, too, love MARC FORD, however, sorry to say but LUTHER DICKINSON is as badass on the guitar as anyone ALIVE. He just is. And a helluva a level headed cool ass dude too. Just saying. This was a wicked version. Great keyboard work too.
Very nice version of this song. I had a chance to see the Black Crowes when they toured with Luther. It was at a festival with a hard shut down at 11 and they didn’t go on until 9:25 so I think they tried to get as many songs into the set as they could so there was less jamming. It was still a phenomenal show and the best of the 5 times I’ve seen them.
Great song and great performance of it! Rich has a nice voice, but he has got to learn to LET IT RIP a little. Put some feeling into it man! That is what makes his brother so special.
i felt as I've heard this before? oh yeah i was there saying where is your brother chocolate and peanut butter two great things that go together. wanee was a great part to a great year.i miss the crows only saw them once
sorry man apples are apples and oranges are oranges i can understand chris is a d&*K but cannot hear the song without both of them it just doesnt sound right without him
kind of depressed about the black crowes....never say never i hope.....luther was great with them.....cornell west on drums and beau bridges on keyboards?
Luther Dickinson of North Mississippi Allstars is doing a live INTERACTIVE masterclass with Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp! Limited spots so make sure to get them while you can. This dude is such a killer player, I am definitely going just to meet and talk to him! www.rockcamp.com/masterclass.php
Great song it was...however I really like Rich and his talent but they need Marc Ford and Brother Chris and not to mention the late keyboardist and they could use me on back ups I can sing this song and add a female flair to it.God bless
I'm proud of Luther. I've seen him evolve over the past 20 years from a punk rocker to a world class guitar player. His dad would be proud. He always was.
World Class for sure...When I first heard him play with a slide , I thought his name may of been Allman lol..
love seeing rich smiling and enjoying it. i seen the crowes 28 times, rich solo twice and the brotherhood 4 times. the boys can stand alone and quite well at that.however,it's much better when their together.
I never seen rich smile like that. He is having the time of his life. I'm so happy for him. Seems like his has found some peace. Good Vibes 👣
Really nice! I always loved the Rich & Luther lineup. Good to see them both looking and playing well...
One of my favorite tour/road trip songs ever.Brilliantly written and played.X

I really want to see them. I've been really enjoying their new LP.
hippydippy they hit the new album hard and heavy. They’ve put together some really good stuff. I got a killer video of them covering some Blind Faith as well.
Rich singing so good.
Wow!! Thank you for filming this! I felt this energy wave going through my body seeing this.
Epic intro to this song. Just perfect.

Spent a good chunk of this set on the ferris wheel
Mr. Doinittodeath, my hat is now to you....Thanx for the video.....Keep up the good work.....
awesome tune....the tour with Luther was THE best Crowes show ever....like a revival of rock and roll...and the organ solo here is great-
Ed White
The Luther period was great, but the best years were between 1994 - 1997.
Southern Harmony and Amorica....what am i missing? I've got all the discs , even the one with the out takes.
are you talking about live shows or recordings?...thanks-
Ed White

Thanks for sharing !! ✌😃❤
Looks as though there's only Luther that can make Rich smile. 😃
Thinking the same thing

Great work..thanks guys!!.
Rich fucking slayed the vocals. Never heard him sing lead on this song I’m blown away.
This is some sweet jam...

Great song and great performance of it! Rich has a nice voice, but he has got to learn to LET IT RIP a little. Put some feeling into it man! That is what makes his brother so special.
Nick Cavuoto Chris didn't wanna pay Steve G. like the founding member he was? is that true?
Great job Rich !!! ❤✌😊
Opening up the catalogue.... I'm good with that.
i felt as I've heard this before?
oh yeah i was there saying where is your brother chocolate and peanut butter two great things that go together. wanee was a great part to a great year.i miss the crows only saw them once
Great guitars here.
who needs the egotistical chris?! great show, amazing Wanee! cant believe Luther is so clean shaven..haha
I hear ya, but Chris just cannot hit those notes in the chorus like his bro.
sorry man apples are apples and oranges are oranges i can understand chris is a d&*K but cannot hear the song without both of them it just doesnt sound right without him
Putaspellonyou, Comparing Rich as singer to Chris is like comparing Chris as a guitar player to Rich.
Outdoor music!!!
Mr Robinson's music reminds me of Fleetwood Mac's early stuff?
So cool they went back to 1974 and snagged Timothy B. Schmidt to play bass! Poco rules!
2 of the best ☮️
liver neck Jones that is funny as hell. ha love it.
Awesome
Nice!!
Woof!!
They just need to turn up Rich's mic
Didn't know Brother Cornell West was the drummer in a rock and roll band?!
Chris Kramer I want to join! Protest songs on cigar box guitar!
kind of depressed about the black crowes....never say never i hope.....luther was great with them.....cornell west on drums and beau bridges on keyboards?

Is that the drummer from Grand Funk Railroad ?
so RR solo project band? not tMS. Cheers.
just one thing missing…
Seeing this is one reason I won’t be going to see the “Black Crowe’s” reunion in 2020.
Little did you know there was another reason you didn’t go and see them
I just saw them in Pgh… you may live to regret that
Luther with short hair. I didn't recognize him LOL!
Tasty keyboard solo.
Agreed. Eddie is nodding his head for sure.
Luther, grow the hair out!
The Black who?
Great song it was...however I really like Rich and his talent but they need Marc Ford and Brother Chris and not to mention the late keyboardist and they could use me on back ups I can sing this song and add a female flair to it.God bless
Marc ford is the best Crowes guitarist period but Luther is great too.
