I have to jump like 10 frames forward to see then animation. Does anyone know what I can do? It is created within fusion and saved - but I think I have messed something up since I have to jump 10 frames forward on the title before the animation happens?
Sorry for the slow response! I was small creator when I created this and I forgot to mention that you need to copy the folder from the example project you get in the download. I'm making a follow up video to clear this soon.
honestly I am impressed. Super easy. Thanks so much for the support 🙏
You sir, are a true legend. if i dont run into issues in the coming time i will def drop some money on it :)
It'd be much appreciated 🙏, and if you get stuck our discord is always active!
Hello,
Thank you for this but when I try to use it, it doesn't work. Indeed, after the installation, when I clic on "Timeline" and "Create Subtitles from Audio", I have an error message telling me that I have reached a limitation with DaVinci Resolve and that I have to pay.
any idea ?
Thank you.
Hi there - the create subtitles from audio is a studio feature unfortunately,
I LOVE THIS AND I LOVE EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THIS THANK YOU
Thanks for being in this circle, we're glad to have you here!
Hi, I love you :D
This is exactly what I wanted captions to do when they came out. Makes life sooo much easier. Thanks for this!
You're welcome 😊
Thanks a lot for sharing this...I have the free version of Resolve so I used *Descript* this time, next time I'll try *Riverside*
this is genuinely really good, and You can make your own templates by adding a custom text+ with your own fonts and style with animations that you have made from transform etc. thank you so much for the help
You're welcome! :)
Ahah thats what I was doing basically generating timeline subtitles then copying it as text nodes then animating each one! can't believe as a developer, I didn't think of creating a plugin for it LOL
I've been hearing there's been a few developers who throught about doing it!
Brother! This is a great plugin!
Thanks!! I never knew when I started this RUclips channel I'd be creating digital plugin solutions for pros 😅
Dude. This is an amazing plugin. Will definitely be trying this tomorrow. Thanks a bunch
Enjoy!
oh my goodness this is an actual lifesaver!! i installed and everything but it only works if the paid version of resolve is downloaded? sadge, but phenomenal tool nonetheless!!
Thanks :)
Hi! Love your stuff!!! However, I have made my own title animation with my own font, which I really like. But when I use SnapCaption and it auto creates the subtitles, the animation doesn't appear. I have to jump like 10 frames forward to see then animation. Does anyone know what I can do? It is created within fusion and saved - but I think I have messed something up since I have to jump 10 frames forward on the title before the animation happens?
THANK YOU MAN! A super helpful tutorial that helped my shorts IMMENSELY!
Sorry for the slow response! I was small creator when I created this and I forgot to mention that you need to copy the folder from the example project you get in the download. I'm making a follow up video to clear this soon.
honestly I am impressed. Super easy. I had this problem a while ago and no one had created any solution so I even went that far and created a python bot that did this using my mouse and Keyboard Input + image matching to find the gaps so it knows where to put the text+ haha xD. GG
Oh and thank you for making it free
That's some impressive Pythoning!
This is insane. THANK YOU!
You are welcome!
I really love this plugin! Fantastic. What I would really be interested to see though is a function to select specific words and have either a block around that particular text or even have it kinda jumping as someone is speaking. Would remove the need for captions app as a whole.
We are waiting to see what resolve releases in it’s next updates to see if we can add these capabilities
You and Dan are amazing for doing this! Thank you so much!
Our pleasure!
Do you think you will be adding specific Text+ effects based on who is speaking with studio 19's speaker recognition?
We'll have to look into what API Resolve gives us access to. Lot's to explore over this next year!
dude what !! you rock ! subscribed !
Dude! You Rock! Thanks for the sub ;)
Hey!
When I drag and drop the lua file into resolve consol noting happens. When. imanually place it into the comp folder it shows up in scripts, but when i click snapcaptions nothing happens. I dont get the install page up.
Same here, using 18.6.4 and plugin 1.4.
@@spieriz Hope this issue can be resolved (no pun intended)
Woww this is exactly what i needed! fr bro u get a sub!
You made it just in time for the before 1000 club ;)

You are welcome!
Amazing tool! Thanks very much for sharing this. I will introduce your video and the tool in my channel.
Awesome! I love japan, it'd be awesome to be amongst the Davinci Resolve Japan users! 🙏
@@TheOrsonLord I have asked my audience to subscribe to your channel. Hope you get new subscribers from Japan!
ive been wanting this for so long. THANK YOU
I wanted it for ages to!
Also! Wow your content is really cool! It'd be great to hang out and talk shop.
I think you need the studio version for this to work right?
There are free workarounds but studio gives the best experience.
WOW bro nice video, this plugin makes my editing living more easier thanks for sharing that
You are welcome!
Thanks! I love you, bro.
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Awesome!
This is f**king incredible work dude!! Well done 👏
Dude! Your work is incredible!
Thanks for this video - I am facing an issue. When I try to generate the subtitle, it says 'no snap caption bin found'
there's another video covering this in detail, but basically you need to copy your folders across from one project to another.
Hi bro! When I try to install it an error message appears. Does not read text+template option. Do you know how fix it? Thank you very much for your work!
Sorry for the slow reply! We've just updated to 1.5 and it should fix this, you can grab the update from Ko-Fi again or from the link where you downloaded 1.4 :)
@@TheOrsonLord v1.5 version doesn't work on beta 19b6 either :(
@@TheOrsonLord Now is already working! :D With the last update of davinci resolve stuio 19 (Stable version, not beta). So, all it's okay.
Thanks u very much for your work
Amazing job Orson! This is going to be a huge help to everyone!
Thank you!
Beautiful work Orson! Just shared this with my community 🙏
Thanks for sharing!!
Do I need studio version of resolve to use this plugin?
I'm working on a workflow solution with the free Resolve when I get some time.
@@TheOrsonLord awesome!
Dude, you and Dan are Godsends!
Dan is a legend for sure, so lucky to find him!
I must've messed up the download or missed a part in the video, because the only ones that will work for me are the "snap beast" ones. Regardless thanks so much for making the plug in and the tutorial.
I'm having the same issue. I'm only able to use snap beast and snap beast (v). Great plug in though. Let me know if you figure out a fix.
This is absolutely epic - liked, subscribed, downloaded and donated 🙏
You're the real goat!
