Hi Ashley, I am in love with this series! I am 31 years old and I was raised Catholic. My uncle is a priest. I am in a season of wanting to grow deeper and closer in my relationship with Jesus. I recently just bought myself my very first Bible. I have been reading it everyday since it came home with me. I am currently reading Matthew. I love to listen to worship music as well. I want to start becoming a little more disciplined. I want to start waking up early, before 8:00 AM, even on my days off. I want to spend a half hour to an hour with Jesus in the morning before I go to work. This video was so inspiring and pushed me to really do it. I adore your endless fire and love for Jesus. I also love how close you are with your brother. I am very close with my brother as well. We are 2 years apart. I was born into a Catholic family, my uncle is a priest also and my grand uncle is a bishop, aunts are servers.. etc. I’m right now trying to grow my passion for Christ, after reading Jesus’s message to the Ephesians in Revelation. The study commentary said this which shook me: “They persisted as disciples of Jesus. Yet their love for truth is stronger than their passion for Jesus. The concept of not staying true to their “first love” may mean not only their love for Jesus but also their love for each-other.” Layman’s commentary
Hey Ashley🤍 I turn 25 this month and I’m in a really busy season of life. I watch my niece full time and then work a job 20 hours a week on my feet(in the evenings) it’s been really hard to find a routine where I can discipline myself to wake up earlier, read the Bible, and take care of myself in general. I tend to eat the free food from work(cfa) because it’s so much easier at 10/11pm to eat that then come home and make something. Pray for my discipline to become stronger🤍

God is really so good, when He uses someone like you to get back on track to God and be more closer to Him. I'm grateful.. I'm still in a working progress because i still struggle to sleep early cause of insomnia, but Glory to Jesus, There is a changes already to some area of my life and my mom is happy about it.
I was very active and would exercise normally 1 hour a day ,even easy days. After the flu I get so tired doing easy little stuff😢. I never really thought to pray about exercise, as in what He thinks I should be doing, and just seeking His guidance so specifically 😅. Game changer!!! I really see that I need to patient with myself and kind because I need to recover. Thanks Ash❤
Getting up early has been the hardest!! I have a disability and if I don't get all my sleep I feel it.. BUT I have been more encouraged to read my Bible FIRST THING in the morning. Life changing & game changer ❤ Thanks for being motivational 🎉

First and foremost I’d like to thank you for leaning into your discernment and calling from the Lord. Reason I say this Ashley is because you may believe girls only watch your content but that is far from the truth; I am a 22 year old male who has become invested in your content severely I will play these videos over and over throughout my day because I too have been feeling a calling to renew my mind and grow my relationship with the Lord. I started watching girls gone bible back in July of 2023 and have watched consistently every Friday since, amazing podcast! Only issue for me was that I wanted more details of the walk and not just the word itself( the word is amazing and comes first always most definitely but when you live in the world and for the world scripture and the word can be very scary.) when I tell you Ashley that I have found so much understanding and every question I had was answered within your videos I truly mean that. You said things I felt as I was feeling them and gave amazing advice!you said to begin with a Christian book if it’s hard to read your Bible and to highlight and make notes and oh my when I tell you that I finished the book: The Love Everybody Wants by Madison Prewett Troutt in 2 days and practically highlighted a point or scripture every page Ashley let me just thank you again girl cause the Lord truly blessed you and your walk to bring others back home to him. Your advice truly gave me the strength and confidence to begin reading the Bible now 😭❤️. Tho something I’ve thought about a little, is that ofcourse these habits are really good, it will help many of us to become the best version of ourself,, but I think it’s just important that we don’t think that these habits make me a better christian ,, more like, these habits is something I want to do now that I know Jesus loves me and want to use me. Our main goal is to love Jesus and love others and spreading the message of him to others, be seeing miracles and get to fill us with what He Wants to give us, joy, love, peace and more! He will do the work he wants to do when we come closer to him,, not that we have our goals to be better to get closer to him. I know you know this, but I just want give that reminder so these good habits doesn’t turn to be a performance to feel like a better christian. God bless sister!❤️

Hey, Ashley. Thanks so much for your videos, I absolutely love them! I was wondering if you could please pray for me. Ive been saved for as long as I can remember (I'm 35), but I've been struggling with alcohol abuse for years. It all started to deal with my severe chronic insomnia then to cope with my abusive ex-husband. Then God released me from that bad marriage, I just enjoyed wine like a normal person, but went back to it out of desperation for sleep. Then I turned to it to deal with my anxiety and panic attacks. It became my way to relax and enjoy myself and what I would run to whenever I felt stressed or depressed and I'm so easily triggered. I've stopped off and on, but eventually go right back. I get the most terrifying physical symptoms in by body because of all the damage I've done, so sometimes I'll drink to make it go away for a little bit or just mask it to stop being scared for a little bit. and everytime I think I can just drink my wine like a normal person, before I know it, I've had one and a half to two bottles. I'm so scared. I do this like 4 or 5 times a week. it's like I hate it, but I love it at the same time. I don't wanna do it, but I can't stop. I've been praying about it everyday. I repent everyday and beg Jesus to help me everyday. And I keep saying that I'm not gonna do it anymore and I go right back. I hate it so much. I feel like I'm drowning. I can't tell my family how bad it because I know they'll treat me different. I don't have any close friends. I feel so alone. I know I have Jesus, but it's so hard when I can't hear Him. I've been trying to speak scripture over this, but I feel so defeated. I feel so trapped. I don't wanna die like this. I know its getting in the way of my relationship with Jesus. I need to be close to Him so bad and I keep screwing it up. I've been begging Him to give me a fresh revelation of His love for me and of who I am and who He is because I know that if I understood how much He loves me, that would fix everything. I know He loves me, but I only know how to believe it with my head and not my heart and I can believe it for literally everyone, but not for me. everyday is the same. I hate my job (looking for another one), I'm tired all the time, I haven't felt good or healthy in years. I toss and turn all day (I work graveyard shift) only to not get any sleep and feel like crap, I dread going to work, I go to work, go home, take care of my puppy (who I love so much and I'm so grateful for ❤) and help with my neices, rush through my chores, make my dinner, usually drink too much and go to bed and do it all over again. I feel like I'm just trying to make it through the day so I can get to the next one and just get through til I'm with Jesus. it's no way to live, but I don't know how to get out. i know i have a lot to be grateful for, but I'm mostly trapped. Hey! I struggle with addiction too, but it's not with alcohol. Anyways girl, I will definitely pray for you! It can be so hard to listen to God's voice when all we hear are voices of doubt, and defeat, and self-condemn. But have you ever tried talking back to those voices? They are , straight from the pit of hell. You are a princess, a jewel, a gem, a strong, confident woman, who's been through so much....but you got through, right? Jesus made you like that. He is always talking, but you have to be listening! Telling those voices that they are wrong, calling them out for what they are, standing on the father of lies and letting him know who's boss, and whose team you are on . . . that does a lot, girl. Whenever you want to go drink, grab your Bible and drink that instead! And that one glass of wine with some friends won't tempt you to another one, and another one, and another, don't drink. The Bible talks about how Jesus struggled with temptation too, in the FACE of the devil, and yet He resisted. And you may go like "Well, He was Jesus. He can do anything." Yes, He was Jesus. But He was man, too. fully man, and fully God. And you wonderful, strong, confident, beautiful woman, have the power to say no to the devil, too. Through Jesus ❤ I love you, and I'll be here for you ❤ you are NEVER, EVER, EVER alone. That's another really tricky, sneaky lie from Satan. I read this comment, and now I'm with you in the fight! Also, and I hope this doesn't change what I just told you, but I am one small teenage girl with the calling from God to be a comforter to the broken. My whole heart prays for you. I will never know (hopefully) how much pain you've endured, but I know my own share, and it does suck. I'm sorry you can't tell your family for fear of different treatment, and that you feel alone. Here are some verses for you: 1 Peter 5:10 Psalms 34:18 Philippians 4:5-7 Romans 8:18 Psalms 2:34 James 1:12 Matthew 28:20 .....and there are so many more! I will be with you, too. I love you so much❤ YOU ARE WORTH SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT YOU STRUGGLE WITH. And I know exactly how you feel when you say, "I'm so scared. I do this like 4 or 5 times a week. it's like I hate it, but I love it at the same time. I don't wanna do it, but I can't stop. I've been praying about it everyday. I am still struggling, but I know that Jesus overpowers all sin, temptation, fear, addiction, depression, loneliness, etc. etc. Its so easy to fall into that hole again, to dig myself deeper. But you know what? Jesus is right there with us, in the mud and mire, and He gets us more than we get ourselves. You won't stay this way. Sis it sounds like you can benefit from deliverance. I used to abuse many things but the Lord delivered me from it all. Check out Isaiah Saldivar. He speaks on this and has a deliverance map where you can find someone local to deliver you from these demons of addiction.

I tend to eat the free food from work(cfa) because it’s so much easier at 10/11pm to eat that then come home and make something. Pray for my discipline to become stronger🤍

God is really so good, when He uses someone like you to get back on track to God and be more closer to Him. I'm grateful.. I'm still in a working progress because i still struggle to sleep early cause of insomnia, but Glory to Jesus, There is a changes already to some area of my life and my mom is happy about it.
I was very active and would exercise normally 1 hour a day ,even easy days. After the flu I get so tired doing easy little stuff😢. I never really thought to pray about exercise, as in what He thinks I should be doing, and just seeking His guidance so specifically 😅. Game changer!!! I really see that I need to patient with myself and kind because I need to recover. Thanks Ash❤

First and foremost I’d like to thank you for leaning into your discernment and calling from the Lord. Reason I say this Ashley is because you may believe girls only watch your content but that is far from the truth; I am a 22 year old male who has become invested in your content severely I will play these videos over and over throughout my day because I too have been feeling a calling to renew my mind and grow my relationship with the Lord. I started watching girls gone bible back in July of 2023 and have watched consistently every Friday since, amazing podcast! Only issue for me was that I wanted more details of the walk and not just the word itself( the word is amazing and comes first always most definitely but when you live in the world and for the world scripture and the word can be very scary.) when I tell you Ashley that I have found so much understanding and every question I had was answered within your videos I truly mean that. You said things I felt as I was feeling them and gave amazing advice!you said to begin with a Christian book if it’s hard to read your Bible and to highlight and make notes and oh my when I tell you that I finished the book: The Love Everybody Wants by Madison Prewett Troutt in 2 days and practically highlighted a point or scripture every page Ashley let me just thank you again girl cause the Lord truly blessed you and your walk to bring others back home to him. Your advice truly gave me the strength and confidence to begin reading the Bible now 😭❤️. another thing about reading the bible is, once you start say you’re just highlighting and underlining as you continue you’ll begin to do more . research, journal, make notes, etc .
When I first started reading the Bible I started with the gospel of John. Found it the best way to understand who Jesus is !

Hi Ashley! I’m really glad you are on RUclips! Tho something I’ve thought about a little, is that ofcourse these habits are really good, it will help many of us to become the best version of ourself,, but I think it’s just important that we don’t think that these habits make me a better christian ,, more like, these habits is something I want to do now that I know Jesus loves me and want to use me. Our main goal is to love Jesus and love others and spreading the message of him to others, be seeing miracles and get to fill us with what He Wants to give us, joy, love, peace and more! He will do the work he wants to do when we come closer to him,, not that we have our goals to be better to get closer to him.
I know you know this, but I just want give that reminder so these good habits doesn’t turn to be a performance to feel like a better christian.

Hey, Ashley. Thanks so much for your videos, I absolutely love them! I was wondering if you could please pray for me. Ive been saved for as long as I can remember (I'm 35), but I've been struggling with alcohol abuse for years. It all started to deal with my severe chronic insomnia then to cope with my abusive ex-husband. Then God released me from that bad marriage, I just enjoyed wine like a normal person, but went back to it out of desperation for sleep. Then I turned to it to deal with my anxiety and panic attacks. It became my way to relax and enjoy myself and what I would run to whenever I felt stressed or depressed and I'm so easily triggered. I've stopped off and on, but eventually go right back. I get the most terrifying physical symptoms in by body because of all the damage I've done, so sometimes I'll drink to make it go away for a little bit or just mask it to stop being scared for a little bit. and everytime I think I can just drink my wine like a normal person, before I know it, I've had one and a half to two bottles. I'm so scared. I do this like 4 or 5 times a week. it's like I hate it, but I love it at the same time. I don't wanna do it, but I can't stop. I've been praying about it everyday. I repent everyday and beg Jesus to help me everyday. And I keep saying that I'm not gonna do it anymore and I go right back. I hate it so much. I feel like I'm drowning. I can't tell my family how bad it because I know they'll treat me different. I don't have any close friends. I feel so alone. I know I have Jesus, but it's so hard when I can't hear Him. I've been trying to speak scripture over this, but I feel so defeated. I feel so trapped. I don't wanna die like this. I know its getting in the way of my relationship with Jesus. I need to be close to Him so bad and I keep screwing it up. I've been begging Him to give me a fresh revelation of His love for me and of who I am and who He is because I know that if I understood how much He loves me, that would fix everything. I know He loves me, but I only know how to believe it with my head and not my heart and I can believe it for literally everyone, but not for me. everyday is the same. I hate my job (looking for another one), I'm tired all the time, I haven't felt good or healthy in years. I toss and turn all day (I work graveyard shift) only to not get any sleep and feel like crap, I dread going to work, I go to work, go home, take care of my puppy (who I love so much and I'm so grateful for ❤) and help with my neices, rush through my chores, make my dinner, usually drink too much and go to bed and do it all over again. I feel like I'm just trying to make it through the day so I can get to the next one and just get through til I'm with Jesus. it's no way to live, but I don't know how to get out. i know i have a lot to be grateful for, but I'm mostly trapped. Sorry, I know that was a lot. Thank you so much, sister, I love you 🤍
Hey! I struggle with addiction too, but it's not with alcohol. Anyways girl, I will definitely pray for you! It can be so hard to listen to God's voice when all we hear are voices of doubt, and defeat, and self-condemn. But have you ever tried talking back to those voices? They are , straight from the pit of hell. You are a princess, a jewel, a gem, a strong, confident woman, who's been through so much....but you got through, right? Jesus made you like that. He is always talking, but you have to be listening! Telling those voices that they are wrong, calling them out for what they are, standing on the father of lies and letting him know who's boss, and whose team you are on . . . that does a lot, girl. Whenever you want to go drink, grab your Bible and drink that instead! And that one glass of wine with some friends won't tempt you to another one, and another one, and another, don't drink. The Bible talks about how Jesus struggled with temptation too, in the FACE of the devil, and yet He resisted. And you may go like "Well, He was Jesus. He can do anything." Yes, He was Jesus. But He was man, too. fully man, and fully God. And you wonderful, strong, confident, beautiful woman, have the power to say no to the devil, too. Through Jesus ❤

Also, and I hope this doesn't change what I just told you, but I am one small teenage girl with the calling from God to be a comforter to the broken. My whole heart prays for you. I will never know (hopefully) how much pain you've endured, but I know my own share, and it does suck. I'm sorry you can't tell your family for fear of different treatment, and that you feel alone. I've been dealing with sexual self-pleasure and pornography for over 3 years, and it's been worse the last part of last year and this year. I can relate to that so much. I am still struggling, but I know that Jesus overpowers all sin, temptation, fear, addiction, depression, loneliness, etc. etc. Its so easy to fall into that hole again, to dig myself deeper. But you know what? Jesus is right there with us, in the mud and mire, and He gets us more than we get ourselves. You won't stay this way.

Sis it sounds like you can benefit from deliverance. I used to abuse many things but the Lord delivered me from it all. Check out Isaiah Saldivar. He speaks on this and has a deliverance map where you can find someone local to deliver you from these demons of addiction.
