Haha, my first thought seeing all that snow was "that can't be Osaka!" Is Hokkaido having a full ice festival this year? I think last year it was 1/2 as big. I was planning on going in 2021 and meeting up with some college friends, but you know how that went...
Yes! In February. Too bad we won't be here. The light festival is pretty good right now. More on that soon! Bummer on last year... Pretty much no restrictions in place now other than mask wearing :)
TeamLab in Osaka is great for an outdoor experience. Tokyo has two indoors: TeamLab Planets and TeamLab Borderless. George likes Planets the best. I like all three. You really can’t go wrong with any one you choose. 🌸 Heidi

I wish we could see the Ice Festival in Sapporo, but it’s not until February and we are not able to stay that long. Maybe another year!
