    If foreign tourists could go to Yamagata Prefecture in the mid-June, they would be able to eat best cherry in the world, and see beautiful fresh green
    nature of Yamagata.

    Hi, thanks for always posting informative videos (: Do you know if a medium luggage, 26-inch spinner would fit on a shinkansen with no extra charge or would I need to reserve a space for it?

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  Год назад

      A medium 26" suitcase should be fine for taking on a Shinkansen train (not oversized). I even measured our 19" suitcase and that particular one is within the 160cm limit. 🌺 Heidi

    Aloha, love your informative videos. So detailed and helpful for my wife and I. We are traveling to Japan for the first time in June. We heard you say take a Digital copy of your passport and store it in the cloud. What’s a digital copy? Thank you for all your hard work. ❤

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  9 месяцев назад

      Hi. We scan our passports and store the PDF version in Google Drive. That way if we were to lose our actual passports, we have a copy with the numbers and everything. You could also photocopy your passport and take a paper copy, but that's more likely to also get lost. 🌸 Heidi

    Hello
    You’ve been very helpful with my queries and I have another one. I want to use Yamato Transport to forward my luggage from one hotel in Shinjuku to my next one near Tokyo. In between staying in these hotels I’ll be going on a one night trip to Nikko. Will they do the luggage forwarding in one day?

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  Год назад +1

      It should arrive in time. I would ship it in the morning and designate the day and time you want it to arrive at your hotel near Tokyo. Maybe keep one outfit with you, just in case.

    As a busy mom myself, how are you doing laundry for your kids. What wet bag for garbage are you using?

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  Год назад

      Hi! We often stay in an Airbnb rental with a washing machine. I use Google Translate to read the buttons on the machine in Japan. Most often we hang our clothes to dry. I have also used washing machines at hotels. And very rarely, hand washed in the sink, if really necessary. I have a whole assortment of wet bags. Thirsties is one brand, but there are various options depending upon where you live. 🌺Heidi

    Thanks for all the advice and videos. Does anyone know where you can store some luggage near Tokyo Train Station for 7 days? Plan on using the 7 day JR pass and it would be nice if we could bring one suitcase instead of three.

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  Год назад +1

      Hi, you can either use Yamato Transport as in our video:
      ruclips.net/video/TRHupDS-kAk/видео.html
      This is kind of a hack so it only works if you can ship to your next destination but you can specify a delivery date.
      Another option is JAL ABC. They have a few offices around Tokyo but you might need to go to the airport. They can store your luggage if they aren't completely full, which might be the case.
      www.jalabc.com/en/hands-freetravel/baggage-storage.html
      Final option, ask your hotel where you will be staying before your 7 day pass. They just might do it.
      Good luck!

      My trip to Japan starts in 10 days. Do you suggest buying JR pass at arrival or I should order online. Whats the benefit of buying online.

    • @KenshoQuest
      @KenshoQuest  Год назад

      @@hammadshoaib3877 You probably have just enough time to order online. It’s slightly less expensive to purchase in advance than it is to buy in Japan.
