I would like to learn more about modern farming in rice. Where can I get that information? I’m too old to do farming but I can hire people to do the job for me. I just need the idea because how can I manage this business if I have no background on what I’m supposed to do. Do I need to hire a professional to look at the farm and plan what crops should I plant? Do you guys have this service? We should have a center for learning modern farming in all provinces, barrios and the most interior part of the Philippines. This is the barrier that farmers face, new technologies are only available to those provinces that are progressive but provinces like Samar is always behind. Sorry to say I have heard a lot of new programs for the farmers but it never reach to the poor ones. This should be available in all small barrios and sitios too so they can improve their way of farming. I wish the new administration will cater not only to the progressive provinces but also and most especially to places where it’s hard to reach. I want to help the govt and the Filipinos find a job and add food to our coffers. We don’t need to ask for more but consider what we can do to our country.
