I have an all you can eat Korean BBQ place near me. Costs about $35 per person and I could eat at least a couple pounds of meat to myself when I go lmao. Way better deal there than at this upscale place.
Upscale places are almost never worth it. They can sometime be worth it just for the experience, but besides that they're just overpriced for maybe a 1% - 5% increase in flavor, but a 100% - 1000% increase in price.
The meat is definitely lower grade. It’s fine if you think it’s too expensive. It’s no different than “fancy pasta”. People need to be realistic. I personally would choose the $35 if it’s decent enough but there are tons of crappy buffets too.

i live in se/e asia so i got to kbbq pretty often, trust me, if you like kbbq come to south east asia (japan or korea or even places like vietnam) the kbbq is way cheaper way more meat for your money and the beef quality is immaculate

They help stir and sometimes divide the meat, but they’re not always there so you also have to watch sometimes. We strike up convos with them. And every few minutes they swap out the pan we’re using because it gets too hot and the meat will start to stick and burn. Basically they have a waiter constantly walking down the isles of tables and checking to see if it needs to be flipped. It’s nice. AYCE for like $25-30 or smt.

not quite true. there’s no general standard for whether they cook for you or not. some places do it for you while some let you do it yourself. you can typically request it either way because some like the experience of preparing while others prefer just sitting back and enjoying.

In the Philippines we have some places of the same but local businesses so it's decent price for our country it will usually cost up to 200Pesos per person which makes samgyeop a good monthly thing because ITS ALL YOU CAN EAT Although make sure to not grab much rice and drink too much liquid. In India we have a similar restaurant chain called "bbq nation" and i am pretty sure they cook the meats a bit b4 putting it on the grill. Not sure if they copied this or whatev but yk if its a family feast, bbq nation is THE place ❤❤

I swear that red/orange chicken thing they have in Samgyupsal/Korean BBQ places always slap so hard. We have unlimited Samgyup for around $10 here and it's always worth it.

My local Korean barbecue is fabulous where the nice restaurants I always have a great time. It’s all you can eat for under $30. Our Brazilian grill is priced about the same the event of living in the Midwest I guess.
I can't wait to get backto the west coast n do this it's a great experience overall even if the food is mid

In India we have a similar restaurant chain called "bbq nation" and i am pretty sure they cook the meats a bit b4 putting it on the grill. Not sure if they copied this or whatev but yk if its a family feast, bbq nation is THE place ❤❤
