- Back in March, it became clear that I'd be spending a lot of time at home in the Carolinas. The nearby Blue Ridge Mountains have been the backdrop for so many of my ideas, but I've never made them a main character in my work. I took this year as an opportunity to do just that. This project gave me a much-needed incentive to rediscover and truly appreciate the landscapes in my backyard- I hope it inspires you to do the same.

We take nature for granted
Seeing this we realize how small and insignificant we are in comparison with nature, the Blue Ridge Mountains not only are some of the oldest mountains in the world but also some of the most diverse on the planet.
These mountains have existed for billions of years and shall remain for billions more , we are only passing by for a short visit , but the Beautiful Blue Ridge will enchant, inspire and mystify. For eternity…….

Wow, that was really cool. I liked the silence at the end. A continuing reminder for me to slow down my cuts in my own films and also for me to get out into nature more often. Maybe that is what I'll do more of in 2022

I think it's a shame that I live in nyc and I can't come up with anything to say or showcase as a creator. You are gifted young man. You have the ability to take whatever you have and make it look amazing, to present and create in a way that is uncanny.

I know allot of these places so that made it even better for me. I live near the Smokey Mountains so I feel your love for them. I don't get up there as much as I should but definitely going to work on that.

yesterday i got home from a road trip that took me through the blue ridge mountains, and i keep finding myself coming back to this video. as someone from the flattest terrain ever in texas, the carolinas were one of the prettiest places i'd ever seen, so it's so funny to hear the way you talk about them. thank you for making awesome stuff and inspiring me to see the beauty in my home
