This reminds me of a road our family dubbed "roller coaster road" growing up. The road no longer exists, well, it does but they removed dangerous parts and straightened it and a large portion is now gravel pits. But it looked so much like this rally stage. We called it roller coaster roaf because there were a few spots you could catch air even at legal traffic speeds lol. Sketchy af. And a steep drop off the side of the road known to kill, narrow, one side blocked by a hill.

since sim racing is out of the question for me due to space, I can only enjoy on VR, Unfortunately I dont enjoy VR much, I cant last more then one race before i need a break.... facesore/headaches etc with a Quest 3.... I will try to mimic this setup when we buy a bigger house. This looks much more fun.
That's my problem too.. I get motion sickness from VR and I love that triple screens gives you a wider field of view plus you can interact with your gear freely. But yes, you need at least 2,5x2,5m of space for triples..

How did you get your triples to look good and not warped on the sides? If you followed a howto, can you link it?
Thank you so much, @wullxz! I didn't follow any specific guide. Essentially, I adjust the field of view (FOV) and seating position until the visuals look as good as possible on my triple screens. It works better with some cars than others. However, if I turn my head too much to either side, you will still notice some warping in the image🙂

Camera question: on flat screen I can only drive with the bumper cam but in VR I’m faster in car… is that fairly common?
It's actually quite common for drivers to have different camera preferences depending on whether they're using a flat screen or VR. In VR, the in-car perspective can feel more natural and immersive, possibly enhancing your sense of speed and control. On a flat screen, the bumper cam often provides a clearer and less obstructed view of the track. Everyone has their own preference that suits their style and comfort😊

Small question: why do u use the handbrake so much? Do u find it more efficient then other cornering methods?
I often use the handbrake in rally driving because it helps to quickly pivot the car around tight corners. It's particularly effective for sharp turns🙂

Unfortunately because WRC still doesn't support triple screens, I have to change it for every single car. I make fov and seat adjustments before every race, so that it looks as good as possible..
I gotta know what mods you're using. Im building my set up slowly but the mod i use doesnt look this clean

what's better, dirt 2.0 or wrc?
I still prefer DR2, the feel of the cars and just the flow of some of the tracks hits just right.
I think WRC is an improvement over DR2 😊

only found out the other day that you can move the camera in cockpit view..
makes things a lot easier and i also got a thumb stick extension, makes steering a lot easier as you have more leverage so to speak..
actually getting some decent-ish times considering i've only played for 80.8 hrs and most of those were spent pinballing off of trees 😅
