People seem to think that bullying is not a crime and involves some minor teasing or such. Bullying can involve any amount of physical, mental damage targeted towards a victim, over a period of time, with the intent to exert power over and humiliate them - usually triggered by power/financial disparity. It is the intent and period that defines the word, not the actions themselves.

Also you can see how no bullying drama ever tried or even thought about suggesting solutions for the bullying problem, usually in these case, these dramas shows how the goverment began to put rules and regulations to solve the problem that the drama discussed.. And this is sad!

I don’t think Koreans film makers are really proud about school bullying in their country. They take school bullying as references to their dirty society where victims can’t no be saved or kept saved. The one who didn’t take action regularly is their government and laws, not the film makers. In fact, after The Glory was released, school bullying victims started to speak up for themselves, exposed those bullies and things they had done with these victims.

The purpose of the justice system is being the sole institution capable of punishing people for breaking rules and laws and thus taking over the responsibility of the victim ('s family) which is taking revenge. This is done to prevent a vicious cycle of violence and harm. However if justice is not served, the victim/family may (should) take over this responsibility again. It is therefore of utmost importance that justice is served properly! Which is not happening in many cases in SK! 😡
    Disgusting what has happened...

Don’t wait until it’s too late, fight back for yourself even if it means sacrificing your life. Losing your life fighting back to protect yourself and your dignity. Don’t lose your life being tortured by those f*king idiots. I beg you to be strong enough to stand up for yourself, and brave enough to fight back. Don’t let others ruin you, don’t let their words get to you, they’re nothing, those kinds of animals are just useless creatures that born to create chaos in the society. This is why sentences have to change in South Korea for teenagers. At 14 years old you know what is right and what is wrong. You can be volatile and not manage well when you are angry because you are not an adult yet but this is a premedited crime without remorse and punishment.
The thing that scares me the most is that the perpretators are on medical field now, where they can kill people easily. And because is not in the criminal records as they are babyied by the system, nobody knows. Everyone could be their victim right now.
And also, it disgusts me that the adults around her blamed her. One thing is a fight, but this...this is so wrong. How dare they to blame her without even listen to her story...
I was also bullied (not that heavily, but I have anxiety and other stuff from that era) and I remember teachers telling my parents if it was my fault because I was older than that guy. I can't ever kill a bug...how could be the cause? I've never been on a fight in my life, even a discussion so...blame the victim it was (this guy knew teakwondo and one day he chocked me....I'm glad I could fight back). Years later, he was on my highschool, and I started to have ptsd symptoms just watching him. Some older friends helped me and I was able to humiliate him in front of other students. The bullying stopped but I've passed my teens in fear of him and my abusive father. So I didn't have any scape. I almost k***ed myself at one point but I'm glad I didn't do it. That is my vengeance to all the people that mistreated me. I will just live a good life

You are a strong person and I know you have a reason to live. Because you have to build a very good life, despite those bullies. This will be difficult at first, but rest assured, most people are bullied. They're trying to get their lives back. Like I did. Do you know why teaching is often the profession of people who are bullied? Because the real teacher is a good, strong teacher with life experience. So that he can immediately understand the situation of his students and teach them good things. Whatever profession you do, being truthful and honest is the most important thing. I'm sure those bullies will or are being punished in some way. Spiritually or materially. May the best things be with you, see you soon 💓 Never lose your faith in good things. Because we can succeed only when we believe.

@@araceli2827 I'm sure you will be a very good mother. I'm so glad you're a teacher. Because you are one of the only people in this world who will give children a wonderful education, both in terms of lessons and spiritually. No one who hasn't experienced it can explain to children how bad bullying is. If there is something more important than the lesson, it is humanity. This world needs people like you so much. Especially during this period. While most people choose the wrong path, people who choose the right path will make the difference. I was talking about helpful, good, self-sacrificing, honest people.
