Honestly not surprised Sky is number 1, he's arguably the most complex and developed of all the Blue Rangers in Power Rangers. He had an interesting backstory, actual goals which led to some interesting character conflicts.
And he fills the role of Lancer really well. Like they actually use his Ranger color as part of his motivation and backstory. It's not just a color to him.
Vann Styron Vlogs Special credit has to be given to his actor Yoshi Sudarso. Really great (and loveable) Blue Ranger, and if anyone has doubts, the guy's also a stuntman.

All of these WatchMojo videos deny PRMF. IMO, that was the best season besides MMPR 3, RPM, and SPD. They had the coolest 6th ranger (Daggeron), a villain you loved to hate (Imperious), and one of the most bad-ass villain/antiheroes ever (Koragg). PRMF is extremely underrated.
Kevin from Samurai kinda deserved a bigger spot to me, he always balanced Jaden out in every aspect and was the biggest source of the much needed discipline to the team, inspiring all of them to be more serious and precise. He might not be the most emotionally clever but thanks to Mia and Mike he learns to let it be a little and becomes a great second in command to Jaden AND Jaden's sister
See bro don't hope for Power Rangers Samurai to be on these kinda list as it is clearly one of the most hated seasons even if it deserved to be praised for something. I have seen so many videos of most powerful red rangers and they completely ignore Jayden from Samurai from it even though he has pretty good amount of feats and he have also been trained from his childhood.

Koda is one of my most favorite rangers. Such an adorable guy with a big heart. He values his family, his friends, and their teamwork. I also love Chad and Kevin. Two more of the best blue rangers ever in my opinion.

People who are saying they're running out of ideas are crazy. The new Power Rangers movie is coming out and Twitch is currently streaming all 23 seasons of Power Rangers. This video adds to the hype. Running out of ideas my ass
Agree for the most part, though I would scramble the list a bit and have Koda be higher up. He has a lot of focus episodes building up his past story and challenging him with having to adapt to a new reality, while also showing how strong his bond is to the other rangers to the point where a monster whose power is to cut the bonds of friendship gets no sold by Koda because he does not see his fellow rangers as friends, he sees them as family.
I know not a lot of people liked Justin, but at least he took the situation he was in seriously. I personally enjoyed his character when he was the Turbo ranger.
my top 10 looks a bit different and I will list how I would personally rank them. 10) Skye from S.P.D he's a decent ranger but he had an ego early on that I can't get over when Jack was made the red ranger 9) Rocky from Zeo again a decent ranger but a training accident put him on the shelf and because of the timing of it I can't forgive it too much 8) Cestro from the alien rangers when the mighty morphin rangers were turned into kids the alien rangers stepped up and Cestro had some awesome moves and impressed me during the short time that they were active 7) Theo from jungle fury a bit of a scatterbrain till he trained under master swoop he became a really good ranger and a fierce fighter 6) Maddison from mystic force a great ranger and her water magic was highly helpful to the team in particular against one of the terrors which were almost unbeatable 5) Kai from lost galaxy a great ranger and key team member when it came to keep the rangers on track 4) Ethan from dino thunder another great ranger with book smarts. Dino thunder had some big challenges and he even stalemated Dustin long enough for the thunder rangers and Cam to show up and break lothor's hold on the wind rangers 3) Justin from Turbo the youngest ranger of all time and reliable a great ranger and even helped the space rangers out of a jam once. I really don't understand why he takes the flac he does since he was an awesome ranger 2) Flynn from R.P.M the mechanic of the team and a decent ranger he even had a brilliant idea using the one of those explosions Ziggy brought up to his advantage with all the times there were explosions before after morphing why did no1 else till Flynn think to use it to their advantage 1) Tori the blue wind ranger from Ninja Storm a great ranger and wise beyond her years being one of the ones with respect for Cam even before he became the green samurai storm ranger. Her mastery of her element really shows and she was even even one of the rangers chosen by the sentinel knight to come back for once a ranger where once again she brought the same determination she had in ninja storm's arc and she really shown why she was one of the chosen ones from the ninja storm arc.
Cobalt Blue Billy is great, no one is arguing that. But saying he will always be the best is dumb, false and based on nostalgia. There can be other better written more interesting blue rangers,prime example, the number 1 of this list, Sky. Original doesn’t equal best.

How TJ is not #2 baffles me. He was easily the glue to the best Ranger squad of all time. TJ was what a Blue Ranger is supposed to be. The clear second leader. He accepted being 2nd in command with grace and was looked at as a trusted friend.

Why is that such a big deal? Super Sentai (Power Rangers' "mother show") did it a couple of times. Kibaranger, the equivalent of the White Ranger from seasons 2 and 3 of MMPR was a kid. Also, King Ranger, the equivalent of Zeo's Gold Ranger was an ancient warrior who looked like a child. There's even a whole season, Toqger, where most of the rangers were children who were magically aged up into adults. And besides that, the whole "kids who transform into grown-up heroes" thing worked on Big Bad Beetleborgs.
I clicked and forwarded to the end to see if #1 would be Billy. I'm pleasantly surprised to find he is not. Thank you, WatchMojo. The original is not always the best.

The irony of Sky Tate is that he reflects the fandom's desire for everyone to become the Red Ranger, yet get chosen a different color and that in time, we come to accept our colors and that we in time, we have to learn what means to be a Red Ranger. It takes a certain level of humility, struggle and understanding to earn the color of red when you stop caring about the color and more respectful and proud of the other rangers you fight side by side. At one point, I would've wanted to be the Red Ranger, but as I got older, I began to realize that it isn't the only color in the rainbow that matter and that if anything, I realize it's about being a part of team rather centering on member of it. -
Pity that they left the best part of Flynn's infamous morph sequence out. That huge explosion he's "WOO-HOO-HOOO!!"ing about? He used it against Tenaya 7 and her goons, marking one of the few (if not _only)_ times in Power Rangers history where the morphing explosion is _weaponized._
This is a very whise idea watchmojo, now you can do a top 10 of each color and a top worst of each color, top 10 power rangers in general and a top worst rangers in general, you got like 25 video ideas.
for one thing, the writing is lazy and generally bad ( even by Power Rangers standards )...then there's the fact they mashed 2 adaptations together ( one of which was Gokaiger, the most epic Sentai series ever )...and the acting wasn't that good either ( the Red Ranger was more robotic & emotionless than the actual robot Ranger... ). The anniversary stuff during the Super half was just plain half-assed.

I watch Power Rangers since the 90's and stop when I discovered Sailor Moon, Pokémon and other anime. Then when I was about to do my homework. I flip through the channels and saw SPD the first episode when Jack and Z started fighting the rangers in the street and I was hooked. That's when I fell back in love with Power Rangers then discovered Super Sentai. SPD video clips lead me to Dekarangers in 2008 or 2009.

Agree for the most part, though I would scramble the list a bit and have Koda be higher up. He has a lot of focus episodes building up his past story and challenging him with having to adapt to a new reality, while also showing how strong his bond is to the other rangers to the point where a monster whose power is to cut the bonds of friendship gets no sold by Koda because he does not see his fellow rangers as friends, he sees them as family.

I know not a lot of people liked Justin, but at least he took the situation he was in seriously. I personally enjoyed his character when he was the Turbo ranger.
my top 10 looks a bit different and I will list how I would personally rank them.
10) Skye from S.P.D he's a decent ranger but he had an ego early on that I can't get over when Jack was made the red ranger
9) Rocky from Zeo again a decent ranger but a training accident put him on the shelf and because of the timing of it I can't forgive it too much
8) Cestro from the alien rangers when the mighty morphin rangers were turned into kids the alien rangers stepped up and Cestro had some awesome moves and impressed me during the short time that they were active
7) Theo from jungle fury a bit of a scatterbrain till he trained under master swoop he became a really good ranger and a fierce fighter
6) Maddison from mystic force a great ranger and her water magic was highly helpful to the team in particular against one of the terrors which were almost unbeatable
5) Kai from lost galaxy a great ranger and key team member when it came to keep the rangers on track
4) Ethan from dino thunder another great ranger with book smarts. Dino thunder had some big challenges and he even stalemated Dustin long enough for the thunder rangers and Cam to show up and break lothor's hold on the wind rangers
3) Justin from Turbo the youngest ranger of all time and reliable a great ranger and even helped the space rangers out of a jam once. I really don't understand why he takes the flac he does since he was an awesome ranger
2) Flynn from R.P.M the mechanic of the team and a decent ranger he even had a brilliant idea using the one of those explosions Ziggy brought up to his advantage with all the times there were explosions before after morphing why did no1 else till Flynn think to use it to their advantage
1) Tori the blue wind ranger from Ninja Storm a great ranger and wise beyond her years being one of the ones with respect for Cam even before he became the green samurai storm ranger. Her mastery of her element really shows and she was even even one of the rangers chosen by the sentinel knight to come back for once a ranger where once again she brought the same determination she had in ninja storm's arc and she really shown why she was one of the chosen ones from the ninja storm arc.

How TJ is not #2 baffles me. He was easily the glue to the best Ranger squad of all time. TJ was what a Blue Ranger is supposed to be. The clear second leader. He accepted being 2nd in command with grace and was looked at as a trusted friend.

That Justin bit was hilarious. I think the problem with him wasn't that he was a bad character really, it's just he was the only one written with any competence. Weird shit happens, he realises somethings wrong and acts, the others are like "Hey Tommy, look at that swirly thing in the sky." "Don't worry Adam, it's not bothering us so we'll leave it alone. It might not be related to Divatox."

Honestly he gets more shit than he deserves, I often wish they brought him back in a better written season as a permanent ranger for a second chance.
Justin does get shit, but it's the show's fault for casting a CHILD as a Ranger.. Hated it when I was 10 and I hate it now.
Plus as Linkara has stated before, Justin was the only competent character on that season.
Why is that such a big deal? Super Sentai (Power Rangers' "mother show") did it a couple of times. Kibaranger, the equivalent of the White Ranger from seasons 2 and 3 of MMPR was a kid. Also, King Ranger, the equivalent of Zeo's Gold Ranger was an ancient warrior who looked like a child. There's even a whole season, Toqger, where most of the rangers were children who were magically aged up into adults. And besides that, the whole "kids who transform into grown-up heroes" thing worked on Big Bad Beetleborgs.

The irony of Sky Tate is that he reflects the fandom's desire for everyone to become the Red Ranger, yet get chosen a different color and that in time, we come to accept our colors and that we in time, we have to learn what means to be a Red Ranger. It takes a certain level of humility, struggle and understanding to earn the color of red when you stop caring about the color and more respectful and proud of the other rangers you fight side by side. At one point, I would've wanted to be the Red Ranger, but as I got older, I began to realize that it isn't the only color in the rainbow that matter and that if anything, I realize it's about being a part of team rather centering on member of it. -

for one thing, the writing is lazy and generally bad ( even by Power Rangers standards )...then there's the fact they mashed 2 adaptations together ( one of which was Gokaiger, the most epic Sentai series ever )...and the acting wasn't that good either ( the Red Ranger was more robotic & emotionless than the actual robot Ranger... ). The anniversary stuff during the Super half was just plain half-assed.

I watch Power Rangers since the 90's and stop when I discovered Sailor Moon, Pokémon and other anime. Then when I was about to do my homework. I flip through the channels and saw SPD the first episode when Jack and Z started fighting the rangers in the street and I was hooked. That's when I fell back in love with Power Rangers then discovered Super Sentai. SPD video clips lead me to Dekarangers in 2008 or 2009.
