Thank you for posting this game. My 1st ever Roller Derby game attended was between these same 2 teams @ Kezar Pavilion as well. Fond memories for this 12 year old. Who sadly knew it be the last year ever for Jerry Seltzer's International Roller Derby League too.
Glad to c another kezar patron✌️🖖😺...the cow palace was another place i was at for games...lived rite near the cow palace....kezar in the late 60s on....✌️🖖😺
Saw this live when i lived in Hamilton at the long demolished Forum on Barton Street. Back in 1970 or so. Staged fights. Referee got "attacked" player got "suspended". Priceless.
Thanks for the Great Memories of the Most Exciting, Action-Packed Fast & Fun Sports Americans 🇺🇸 Loved for years ❤ amazing skaters! Exciting Games for the entire family to enjoy personalities,
This is hilarious! Everyone looks funky in their gear, rolling around and beating the crap outta each other! PCP must have been the pre-game meal, for this stuff!
Unfortunately, most of 1973 was out of character for the way the teams skated. Too much influence from the many interleague series they had that year. Just my opinion.
Notice the "fight." "Punches" always landing on the shoulders, phony "kicks," so called "fights" ALWAYS at the end of the game. PHONY, SCRIPTED, PRACTICED. But thousands actually thought this was "REAL." Just like "wrestling" PHONY as a fourteen dollar bill.

Walt Harris, one of the best announcers for Roller Derby.
Wow, this was a great action game... love all the fights... the women were brutal this game.
Saunders vs. Tucker--some of the best!!~!
In 1973, they were the Ohio Jolters. The Southern Jolters were in the IRSL starting in 1979.
The rare blowout win. Usually, the game always came down to the last jam.
Roller derby, wrestling on skates.

Un buen juego y muy rudo, donde los Bombarderos llevaron la mejor parte. Saludos desde Puerto Rico.
