I have been learning on my own since i bought an electric guitar last month. After practising the basic methods for one month, i started to loose interest. your channel is the best ever. again i started gaining interests by playing through ur riffs and solos. ur channel saved me. the best teacher ever :) please teach how to play "thunderstruck-ac/dc" thank you sooo much.
Ive been leaning guitar for around 7 months now, following various youtube videos etc. Your videos I have found without doubt the most useful. The way you start with the absolute basics of the song and move towards the complexity makes the songs much more accessible and fun to practice. Many thanks and much love.
Hey there, it has always been my desire to push those "forever beginners" past the point of beginner and onto "confident guitarist" territory. So, thank you so much for the comment and I'll keep the videos coming!
Hey, great to see the timing shown with the strumming pattern! So many tutorials on youtube are just a jumble of D and U strums, with no info how it matches the song. Having it presented visually is really helpful, thanks! :-)
Really useful and easy to follow video. It is so helpful to be shown with the strumming pattern which is integral to this song. Your channel is the best for clear, simple yet sufficiently detailed instruction. Many thanks!
Muting excess strings is a tricky, but essential technique for playing this type of music. You basically need to press the strings you want, and *lightly touch* the strings you don't want. If you let the underside of your index (1st finger) lightly touch the extra strings (gbe) it should mute them and you get a nice *chh* sound instead of the open strings.

Hey there Shatadru! Comments like yours are very encouraging for me. I will consider "thunderstruck". It's a great tune.

I've found, with my students, showing things on a sort of grid is really helpful.
