- Here is a quick buyer's guide video and my experience with the 2022 Audi Q8. I really like this SUV but I don't think the model I got was in the best shape, especially after testing a 2022 Audi Q7 55 TFSI which was absolutely perfect. My 2022 Q8 55 Premium Plus rides phenomenally well..
These car dealerships must be hating you for your pure honesty 😂.
But we like it. 👍 keep up the good work!!!
Well I don’t really go to dealerships anymore it’s really the manufacturers themselves that basically black listed me for talking too spicy and not really caring.
I guess the biggest danger to these manufacturers is they can’t tempt me with their cars, their trips, or their events. I simply don’t care for the things of this world or the world’s system and they’ve never seen someone like that before.
On top of that they see how resourceful I am and how I still get access to every car without their help it must be pissing them off even more so now they don’t want to have anything to do with a loose cannon like me.
@MeynMotorGroup hahaaa you are a boss.. again stellar job you doing 👏 . You a reliable reviewer we can actually look forward to hearing worth a trusted opinion.
But however resourceful way you acquire these cars, please keep going.
👍
@@IAmCruz100 hey thank you my friend for the kind words I really appreciate supporters like you because you allow this channel to keep going.
You know I really don’t mind the manufacturers, I expect them to behave the way they do but the only sad thing about what I do is the viewer’s reaction.
It’s just sad that everything I do is to benefit the consumer watching but it’s actually the consumers that get pissed at me the most for telling it the way it is.
Sadly not everyone wants to be helped or can be helped. Some just want to sit and worship/idolize their favorite car all day and don’t want to here any truth, I’ve come to understand most like to live in a lie.
But that’s ok because I can cut through all that and reach the real ones like yourself. Thank you.
Wow, can you do a video on the behind the scenes aspect of the car industry? I feel like the blacklisting and other things are not talked about

Almost every industry sucks and works the same so I don't care about that. Like I mentioned before what saddens me is the viewer/consumers reaction to the content I make.
I tell the truth and I get dumb*** comments like "if you don't like the car why are you reviewing it?" or just taking what I say out of context, putting their own narrative on it and slandering me on some forum.
I can literally say I like a car but because I don't have a cartoonish hype voice where I sound happy about everything, people assume I don't like the vehicle even though I verbally say I like it.
Some guy who put an order in for a turd had a meltdown because I didn't hype up the car he bought. People don't listen, they don't care, they just want to hear warm fuzzy things about the mistakes they finance.
Pisses me off more than the industry.
Thanks Kevin! Enjoying the MMG content! 100K soon!!!
I really appreciate the kind words my friend! I hope you are well
Had a Q8, and now own an SQ8, both in Prestige trim, but the SQ8 has the air suspension. From my experience, your Q8 had some issue that likely needed maintenance. I have found the suspension both to be a good mix of handling bumps with a sporty firmness. Of course the air suspension allows more variability based on settings. There are known issues with slight throttle lag in the normal drive mode, seemingly to help eke out MPG figures. Sport mode or a throttle controller, eliminates that lag. The only disappointment I have with my SQ8, is the MMI interface-there are small glitches such as dropping favorites and CarPlay’s desire to kick in even if radio is selected. Overall, I have no regrets and am pleased with my purchases.
I’ve been wanting to upgrade to the SQ8 but every dealer in my area charges like 10K over sticker.
Thank you for taking the time to share this my friend, what kind of suspension maintenance do you think this particular Q8 test vehicle needs?
And yea a lot of cars nowadays has infotainment/carplay glitches a Porsche Macan I tested had some annoying carplay problems so far with the Audi's I tested I didn't have an issue but most cars will eventually develop a glitch that could be reprogrammed at a dealer.
But congrats on owning two awesome Audi's, I loved driving this Q8 and I think if that suspension was sorted, this is a product I would personally like to put on my driveway.
Consider reaching out to AutoCompanion, he is selling SQ8s at sticker + you can get $1k off if you qualify for Costco.
He does charge a broker fee but if you use my affiliate link in the description he will offer a discounted broker fee.
But you will have to pick up at Washington D.C. or ship which can add to costs if you're not local.
@@michaels2470 I had to order mine to purchase at MSRP. Things may be changing, but nearly all SQ8s coming to the DC metro area have been pre-sold.
@@MeynMotorGroup I have not seen any abnormal issues with the Q8 or SQ8 suspensions. Air suspension adds complexity that could result in higher repair costs down the road.
Cheers Kevin!
Thank you my friend!
Great words 👍🏼
Should do a recap/shootout of all the luxury SUV's you've reviewed so far. I'm sure buyers are cross-shopping them!
Good idea! I’ll look into it!
You should try to get an SQ8 to review I guarantee you would love it. An amazing all around car and essentially a detuned urus for like a third of the price.
I mean I already like this regular Q8 it's just that the test vehicle I got had issues other than that, SUVs on this platform are incredible very good dynamics
Just got one, will post more
It’s time to try another q8 but with prestige and see if there’s difference or just the model is flawed
Yea I'm sure it would be great I really love this SUV and I think if I got to try one in perfect condition it would be something I would enjoy putting on my own driveway.
I want to get the latest model, fully loaded Audi Q8, with the black optics and s-line package, luxury and executive packages, 4 wheel steering, double pane greater sound proofed glass, all of it. The problem is that I live in rougher road, mountainy ski country, and want thicker rubber tires, but if I get the black optics and s-line features I am forced into the 22" wheels with Audi's online Build feature, when I want the thicker rubber of the 21"rs, 20"rs ideally, but 21'rs would be acceptable. I wish Audi would just give us the option of what size wheels at all levels. It's why I didn't buy in late 2021, and why I am balking again now. There are other little things I wish they'd do, but really, that wheel size is my main concern. Oh, I also wish it came with a full size spare. I don't know anything about what appears to be a spray internal repair kit that comes with them now, at least some of them, but out West here especially, I can be many miles away, sometimes 100's of miles away, from getting a new set of tires if a blow out occurs, and even the temp spares like in this one apparently have distance limitations, I think I read like 45 miles max recommended. That is a problem potentially. Love your mpg comments, very nice to hear.
I had a Q7 before and traded for a Q8 and sure enough I did notice the ride was not as smooth as the Q7.. Also has Handcook tires..That doen't help..Tried trading them for Michelin and found that they were $700 a peice...
Did it have bigger rims? In theory the Q8 should be even more comfortable due to the larger outer diameter wheels but maybe it has sportier suspension tuning
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Q7 for the win! Q8 is for mugs.
Nice!
Yo bro 🫡🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾
Hey bro thanks for dropping in on this one!
