That's really cool, because I like their music! I know Nico and Vinz would absolutely take that as a compliment!
I'm not surprised that you may have heard parts of this song before. First as Envy, Nico and Vinz's music was the rage in underground circles in their Envy period to the writing of the monster hit, "Am I Wrong" in 2013, still as the band Envy. So there was a fast build up, and they were drawing media attention from all sources back then. Even on the program The Voice '13 there is a program of them doing "Am I Wrong" live at an outdoor concert. That, to my knowledge, is the only outdoor concert I've ever seen on that program.

That was great! Great program! Always thought this was a highly underrated performance of them as Envy back in the day with a more rap-heavy approach, but Nico could from jump could sing the hooks in English. Vinz's rapping is highly musical in this, but it's not really full throated singing at this point in his career as he would later do with a vengeance after taking on a singing coach.

You're going to have to educate your boy here Anwar. . .what is the term "EDM music" you keep referring to? Would love to learn about it, as it seems Nico and Vinz, at least in their earlier years as the band "Envy" (this video here) seemed to be heavily influenced by it. Would love to know what it is that they were hearing!
