The most ironic thing about Taras is that no one cared about how insane and powerful his live performance was. For years.
It took some spicing up for large public to notice him.
I'm happy your opinion of this whole stuff is so positive, DLow. That means you're open for innovations, and your chance to thrive in the future increases tenfolds.
Unlike some bitter retrogrades who want to stay in their comfy undergound, and don't want to make music, release albums, perform on big stages, attain popularity outside of their community. They only see "effects" and not the IMMENSE skill, musicality, style and thought that Taras puts into his tracks. Yeah, that SO far away from pure beatbox, but it was ineviatable. Evolution/revolution of the genre.
I hope you'll actually rope Taras into collabing with you, hahaha. That'd be straight up epic.

I hear a lot of people say that Taras is the first to do this more produced form of beatboxing, but the first I heard was Trung Bao and Chiwawa’s In the Zone album which is super underrated and you should check out/react to if you haven’t. Taras seems to be the first reaching a more non-beatbox audience though and he deserves all the attention he’s been getting

I want to see you react to his song "Same". He does, towards the end, what I think is a lip roll and throat bass at the same time to create an ultra low bass sound that is phenomenal. I don't think I've heard any other beatboxer do that and I want to get your opinion on it.

So glad you finally got around to this! I was curious how you would feel about how "unnatural" it all is. I think it is an awesome piece of art that isn't trying to "lie" to you or anything, simply using the tools of the modern day to enhance his music. He just did a new song titled ROYAL that I think may be an original that is in this style.

@@mihail335Забавно, что ты такой злопамятный. Да, он критиковал его битбокс композиции и не считает его (как комьюнити считает) лучшим битбоксером в мире. Но, он всегда лестно отзывался про его битбокс, про его отдельные саунды, про то даже как он двигается на сцене и считает его как битбоксер огромным потенциалом. Но ты запоминаешь только плохое и в этом не сильно виню тебя. Потому что это натура людей. Забываются хорошое, а плохое запечатлеваются в памяти

Шутишь что ли у него достижений хватает э, и в плане техники явно даже и близко не кого нет , он всегда в основном плохие качества потчеркивал,я считаю когда тот кто ничего не добился высмеивает или резко высказывается о чемпионе многих крупных турниров это не красиво и неуважительно, да и вообще абсурдно есть еще вариант с завистью , но тогда это вообще

You really really should have listened to one of his own songs which I think is one of his best pieces, it’s called ‘Same’. It is like an onslaught for the ears and brain and very impressive. Btw, there was podcast with him (in russian) where he was talking about his view on beatbox as a music itself and that he would like to see more musicality in beatbox. Maybe there are some auto CC which you can autotranslate

Yeah all Stanin's full videos have very articulate mixing and post processing, like every single sound he makes has it's own reverb and/or delay and compression. Which really gives certain focus and emphasis on aspects and it works really well. And, when thinking about it, it's not like actual instruments don't all get their own entire damn effects chain in production ;p Give this man a reverb and delay peddle live and I'm sure he can mimic quite a lot live to the point where plenty of people won't hear that.

D-Low, I only heard about your existence thanks to Taras.
When I first saw his video I was captivated and over the course of several months I watched hundreds of videos with different beatboxers and beatboxing competitions.
And I realized that what I like most is musical beatbox. And no matter how hard I try, I don’t like 80% of dry beatbox.
I think that there are a majority of people like me, since I am an ordinary person. ☹
Beatboxers put themselves at a disadvantage compared to other genres of music by limiting themselves to dry beatboxing only. Therefore, it is difficult for them to compete with other Genres to attract the attention of ordinary people.
We need more variety in beatbox so that everyone can choose what they like. The beatbox community should grow, not shrink. And be friendly and positive.

I call dry beatboxing raw. In 90% of cases it is not suitable for listening to ordinary people, for playing on the radio, or for competing with other genres of music.
Great beatboxers are like a guitar lying in the attic, the sounds of which cannot be heard by people but only by cockroaches living in the attic.
They need to make sure that common people can listen to it and enjoy it. Only then will beatboxing become very popular for everyone.

lol definitely not autotune in that. He does have originals that you may want to check out, such as Royal and Same. And I'm guessing you saw the shout out he made for Swiss Beatbox about a year ago, I think it was? It's hardcore beatboxing with some musical components, and.. the best part is that it's SIX minutes long, and it gets better and better to the end. It's not on his channel so do a search for "Swiss Beatbox Taras Stanin" and it will come right up in the search. Love the reaction, btw, and really enjoyed your breaking things down and giving your opinion on all the yummy details. Taras is a force to be reconned with and pure fire! 💗

D-low! I can't lie, you are truly the one who made me hardcore beatbox fan, Years ago. That being said, as soon as i discovered Taras,i became diehard for him. He is beyond next level and that's really saying something considering the level of people like yourself, Helium, Vahtang, Improver, Show-Go and more. Thanks for the reaction it was great.
