That's a shame that they do now give yourself and smaller channels a pre-released version but you are absolutely correct the larger RUclipsrs absolutely do not use this camera and only make the one video. The price is the one stumbling block for me. I already have the Pocket 2 and I really like it. Had the price been more reasonable I would have ordered one right away. Anyhow, love your channel. Great work! (Can't believe they didn't send you one!)
Thanks Steve. I completely agree with you about the price. I think if they lowered it a bit a lot of new users would purchase this camera. The Pocket 2 is still a great little camera. I plan on using the P3 a bunch on my other RUclips channel, I think it would be great for camping, etc.

ya that is a bit much. I just grabbed the basic combo as I already have a wireless mic system, although I am hoping the internal mix will be good enough.
@@DavidDavies Apparently you can plug other external mics into it as well...but still the basic option is over $700+ CDN...I'll keep using my phone for now for anything I don't film with my Nikon.
Frustrated. I have been a loyal customer of DJIs. Within the past 3-4 years I have purchased - both the gen 1 and 2 Pocket; 2 DJI Osmo gimbals and 3 DJI drones. And yet there is no ability (like Go Pro and others) for returning / loyal customers to purchase other then "stand in line" None of the local retailers have the Pocket 3 and DJI can't deliver until Thanksgiving (ironic?). But they offer $10 credit for my loyalty.
Yep, they really should have some kind of program for returning customers. Especially with their pocket cameras, these cameras are so unique that they owners are really into the cameras so why not make it easier for them to get the upgrade. I hope you get it soon.
Sad to say - while I submitted my plea for consideration. I think they offered me $10. In the end, the big box stores could get me the Pocket 3 Creative Combo in a week. Whereas, DJI was the third week in November. They have great products, but their customer support ..... well, I guess they are a bit too comfortable in the market.@@DavidDavies
Not going to get one, because DJI support abandoned its customers who simply wanted a firmware update for Active Track on the Pocket 2, and that price point (even in today's inflationary market) is about $100 higher than anticipated. A definite No from me.
That's a good point Joe. I think they really priced it too high, especially for new adopters to this camera series. I just purchased the basic camera not the combo because that's way too expensive.

It looks awesome...but the combo (which is the smart choice) is $900+ in Canada...ouch.
