I only own one watch, but it's a Hamilton Pilot Day/Date which I adore. From the skeletonized hands to the super shiny numbers that pop in even very low light, to the symmetry in the day/date at the 12 and 6, it's clear that a lot of thought went into how to modernize a Flieger B. It's a perfect daily watch, the right mix of practical and flashy. I have my eyes on the champagne Khaki King for the same reason.
Maybe not the Best Field-watch offer, but I doubt there's any other most iconic, particularly because Hamilton really likes to make cameos on all sorts of movies. But, besides that, I'm a big fan of their anesthetics and design. Thank you for the video.
Timely review I am thinking about an auto 38mm in black. I hear it and my SARB 017 can share bracelets, that would be cool. If I dont sell the SARB and take the Hamilton money and go for a Sinn556 A.
I couldn’t stand the dressiness of the auto 38mm. Took it to a jeweler to have the bezel satin brushed. Looks so much better. Now if only I could get rid of that d@mn reflective sapphire crystal and trade it for a mineral crystal…
I want to get into Hamilton, it seems like they offer alot for the money but i haven't found one that speaks to me honestly, every time I try and look at them in person my eyes just get drawn to another brand.
How / where were you able to get a new bracelet for the Khaki Field 38mm? I’m looking for a bracelet for my 38mm and couldn’t find anything new online. Great video as always
If you go to Hamilton’s website and contact customer service with your watch model number, they will email you the part number and cost. Then you have to call the Swatch Group (they provide the number), wait on the phone for 20min (they WILL pick up) and give them the part number and pay. They ship Fedex pretty quick.
@@watchmegobroke4365 amazing thank you! Seems like it would be easier if they just listed it on their site 😂. Should have taken your advice and just bought the bracelet version from the start
Why is a 80 he power reserve a gimmick????? It’s not. It’s very nice if say the Hamilton is your work watch. While you come home Friday go back to work Monday and it’s still running and it’s on time you don’t have to stop and set it up again. I guess it’s the closest thing to grab and go watch for a automatic
dude it takes like, a minute to wind the watch up. This ain't something like starting up a Boeing 747 ffs. And if you're living a real life and touching grass (being sociable) and being part of the society, what would likely happen is you come home Friday and go back to work Monday AND FORGOT to wind the watch up. Like c'mon, don't tell me you spent all weekend thinking about winding that effing watch up by Monday.
I know Shane from Relative Time has a stunning Khaki King with a champagne dial which I absolutely love.
Very good video. I have to up my game; I only have three Hamilton autos and I wouldn’t part with any.
I’m green with envy over your X-Wind. 😍

Love that X-Wind. Not shown here, but I’ve got my eyes on the Interstellar Aviation Day/Date.
I picked the Khaki Field Auto Titanium black pvd! Absolutely love it.. They are definitely on my short list!
Grabbed a Hamilton khaki field auto far cry edition as a Christmas gift for myself and am in love with it 😍

Nice collection! I really like those black and white mechanicals.
I like the khaki king…the Hamilton pilot watches are really nice as well.
I now have 2, jazzmaster and khaki king. Now, looking for number 3.
All very nice watches. The chronograph is a beast. I’d take the Khaki king.

What don’t you like about them
@@Ferien7 they just feel a bit flat style wise I guess. Not bad, just doesn’t wow me I guess
@@DeadlyMuffinCat what brands and watches are you considering

Very cool hamilton collection. What's your thoughts on the murph?
Oversized and overpriced.
I want one......
Dig your content man 🙂
I wonder if you could de- movement those and have an eyeglass store AR them . Lol
Haha!
That’s a good suggestion

Agreed. I love the idea of 80 hr power reserve. Less maintenance. Comes in clutch especially since it's not an automatic.
