I like this guy. He just need to open up his reviews on phones more. I know he enjoys doing speed tests but he owns so many phones that he is able to do phone comparisons as well. He would pull in a lot of subscribers. Speed tests are good but people also enjoy comparisons more than all.

Hey bro, your reviews are good, but you really should work on fixing the tone of your voice. Everytime you say something, you always end it with the same tone. The last two syllables you say in every sentence follows the same pattern everytime. Your tone goes down, and then it goes up. This is fine we you use it once in a while, but you do this for every sentence you say. Try watching other big reviewers and see how the tone in their voices shift throughout their videos.

The video stabilization and microphone quality are terrible on mate 10 while video recording. Other than that, everything is better on mate 10. I just got the mate 10 but I am thinking of returning it because of those 2 things. They are deal breakers to me as I shoot plenty of videos.

Camera/video is better on S8+, display is better, mics and speakers are stronger, but Huawei is faster in opening some apps and slightly better in dark photos (but we will see when Samsung roll an OREO update, like Huawei!)...
what about headphone jack quality on the mate 10 ?
headphone jacks have always been a sore spot with huawei, i've had huawei's as my main phone for years now and i love them but the quality of the jack has always been a bit below samsung and apple, their bluetooth has always been fine though. im not sure if it's been fixed on the mate 10 but i doubt it since they are phasing out jacks now like apple and the like.
yea its the only thing stopping me from buying it now, but according to gsmarena audio review it looks great on paper...
to be honest i usually use bluetooth headsets now so even losing the port doesnt bother me, i mean a good bluetooth headset and a jacked one cost pretty much the same now so i don't really see much point in going wired. but anyway it's never been bad enough to deter me from getting a phone as at the end of the day every phone has it's drawback you've just got to pick the best of the bunch lol
Go to sound settings and amend it from the default earbuds to DAC which is higher power for cans.

...Six of one, half a dozen of the other... More interested in the cameras, though... To me, Samsung kind of edged ahead in that area, especially with video sound recording... Unless that has changed now, only the Pro iteration of the Huawei Mate 10 is available in North America...

wouldn't worry most people have massively praised the m10 camera so far so it could just be an early software bug on his device.
I think huawei screwed something up on their battery and speed optimization not as fast as the mate 9 or p10

Guys watch out the sound quality... all note 8, note fe, a8 or a8 plus... the sound quality has been degraded... mostly ip67 water resistant samsung phones... i dun really njoy music in spotify in Flagship Samsung phone... more bassy n lack of clarity... personally compare with J7 pro, note 5 has better hd sound quality... do a comparison using high end headset or Bluetooth speakers...

I think it depends on your providers or careers, as long as they work well, so our phones will be just fine. But if they have bad service or less signal to contact with our phones, so our phones will look like bad ones, although they are the best brands of flagship phones.
+ Hendry. i dont think that RAM Management depends upon any provider or careers. It might be due to the exynos and sd version of S8

On other tests also my Mate Pro gets 168000 points (vs 177000 Samsung) but your Mate shows 178k!! Why? Also my Mate and many others on net are slower than S8+. So you did something...

Was it on early software? Mine never gets any less than 175k, around 180k is normal and it's hands down the best phone of the year, Huawei's so ahead of the game.
Yes, it was early. Mate 10pro is ok phone but surely isn't the best phone of 2017. Samsung S8/8+ and LG G6 are much better phones (not to mention Pixel 2XL and Iphone X!). Mate has some serious problems with batt draining, software problems also bad video rec, display isn't near good as Samsung's etc.. But it is ok phone for the price. And remember - Chinese put BILLIONS of $ into COMMERCIALS... That's the power of propaganda. To convince you that you are buying something great. Even if it isn't.
Nope, Mate 10 Pro is the best phone hands down. The version I have with a stable build is spectacular, no Pixel XL quality/screen issues, no infamous Samsung lag, no iPhone X ugly notch+Apple slowing down the phone after a year, and no shitty screen+crappy front cam like on the V30. Battery life blows all other flagships out of the water, there was a bug with early software where Google services were eating up 50% of battery (now fixed). All in all this is overall the best phone and the only one without serious issues this year. I know when I have something great, I've tried all the major brands also other Chinese ones, none are at Huawei's level, the last Chinese brand I tried, ZTE, was pretty bad. If it's that good it is really that good, nothing more to say.
