I just discovered this channel. Excellent interview! Great questions and discussion. I am originally from Michigan and raced enduro and hare scrambles from, more or less, 1980 until 1990. I raced the D-14 series, some national hare scrambles, enduros, and qualifiers. I was 7th in the 125A class in the Nat'l HS series in 1987 on a KTM 125. I competed in the Jackpine 7 times. I raced at Delta outside of Toledo a couple of times in the 80s. I got a bit acquainted with Jeff back in the day when I raced a few nationals. Jeff was very personable with no ego. He was sort of mentor. Jeff was a hero of mine. I am proud to be a fellow 'mid-westerner' former enduro racer. Oh my, this video brings back so many memories for me. Thanks for posting!
In 1995 i bought a new kdx 200 with a few mods i did the enduros and hare scrambles excellent bike very capable and reliable . Top of the list of my favorite bikes ive owned along with my 1986 Husqvarna 400 wr which ive just finished restoring
