I always liked him, but his mature version is wonderful! the fact that he lost his fear and bothersome insects, the fact that he (being the most fearful before) threw himself into the world of fairies with only a string holding him back just to save Hilda... And the fact that he took care of Frida when she was unwell. Ah, a true gentleman.

I love how far David has come. He hit puberty hard, I thought they were going to replace his voice actor, but as the VA aged, David aged as well. I like that and I want to see it in more cartoons with child actors.

I mean, canonically, in the movie, they are a bit older than in Season 1, but i would love to see a new movie design for them, like a mid-stage between children (Season 1 and 2) and teens (Season 3)

David was a tiny bit annoying in seasons one and two but season 3 fixed every tiny issue i had with him.also, congrats david,on the grouth spurt.im like 5 foot 4. 👏

Yeah they could have done something with her hair. I mean that's what they did with David and Frida Davids hair is longer and Fridas hair is now in two pigtails and seems fluffier
I feel like you can tell their personalities more with their new looks, like they both had similar color schemes and kinda blended in with the other background character, but their new outfits seem to show more of their own personalities
Unfortunately if this is season three than, like the actual season. Then I'm doomed. Also this reminds me of Harry Potter, but Hilda is my second favorite series for a random reason Gumball will be my fav forever

David had the most character growth between seasons 2 and 3. He's so much braver, confident, and relaxed.

He is way better in season 3 then seasons 1 and 2- he was at 1st annoying but in season 3 one of the best characters
