Why is it that sometimes when you don't wear headphones while listening to songs (like collabs) you hear something that you don't hear when you wear headphones. Like this one, Babe, when I'm listening to it without headphones I can clearly hear drums, Taylor's backing vocals and harmonies but when I wear them, I can't hear some of things, like what I said harmonies but I can hear tho Taylor's voice going around in my head. That's why I have to listen twice to songs.
The Someawesome I see what you mean but the thing is her pop albums are also great. To me there are a few, if any, that can compete with her in pop music/albums at the moment. It would be nice for her to return to country-pop music but she thrives equally in pop music and pop music seems to need her!
Evi m I don't think her pop albums are bad at all either. It's just I would be lying if I said that she wasn't at her peak doing country music. Something about her ability to tell stories and sing a heartfelt message fits the country genre more than her anthemic, largely produced pop tracks.
The Someawesome I totally see what you mean, her storytelling skills are indeed amazing. To be honest, I became a fan of hers after '1989', so I first listened to her pop album. Of course I knew some of her hit songs from earlier albums but it was after 1989 that I actually discovered and listened to her earlier country-pop discography, so I might be a bit biased in favour of her pop music. I know that whatever she decides to do next, she will deliver a great album as usual, because she is so talented.
Honestly she'd shine in any music genre. But the only album of hers that actually sounded country to me was the debut album. After that it just kept becoming more and more pop-y with each album she released. I have a feeling that TS7 will be more like Speak Now and Red though.
I think it essentially just depends on musical taste at this point. I know a lot of people who love Taylor also fall into those who love the pop-country and pop-rock vibe of Maren, Carrie, Jason, Carly Pearce, etc. and many also fall under those who love the craftsmanship of pop artists like Brendon Urie, Lana del Rey, Lorde, and Billie Eilish.

Just wondering if their are more such unreleased songs which Taylor has hidden and kept in her music box....even the thought gives me the chills Edit: thanks for the likes ❤
When she was releasing Speak Now she mentioned in a vlog that she wrote a bunch of songs for Speak Now and she'd have a certain track list but by the time she released the album she replaced a lot of the songs with ones she thought were even better. I think she mentioned she usually writes 30-40 songs for each album? Also I think her Dad mentioned listening to the songs she wrote for Red and how there were something like a dozen great songs that didn't make the cut.
Nicolas Derome that means some great 1989 bops are also hidden in those deep recording studios.... I'M JUST DYING WITHIN...I mean each of her era specially RED has had some great wonders which I would cherish for rest of my life....And although I still love her, the Reputation album is crap....as an album its kinda good but none of the singles have worked yet....I want A collection of all those amazing songs which never got an album
come on Tay, keep um comin', I love your awesomeness and talent, you amaze me, (we need to pay for that NYC block...ha!), so ...blow our minds with your words!

Jennifer, Kristian and Taylor are *all* such amazing performers! Taylor Swift is and always will be my heart but Sugarland are such kick-ass amazing artists! I love them all. They bring such life to this song❤️

i miss country Tay!
She said she wrote this during during her RED tour
Dylan Aurianz SAAAME! I'M CRYING RN.

This is absolutely brilliant. Jennifer's voice and emotion are off the charts incredible. You feel every word. Nice job Taylor!
Great voices and great lyrics...couldnt ask for more 😍😍🔥💝
[Verse 1: Sugarland]
What a shame
Didn't wanna be the one that got away, yeah
Big mistake, broke the sweetest promise
That you never should have made
I'm here on the kitchen floor
You call, but I won't hear it
You said no one else, how could you do this, babe?
[Chorus: Sugarland & Taylor Swift]
You really blew this, babe
We ain't getting through this one, babe
This is the last time I'll ever call you, babe
This is the last time, this is the last time
This is the last time, I'll ever call you babe
[Verse 2: Sugarland]
What a waste
Taking down the pictures and the plans we made, yeah
And it's strange how your face doesn't look so innocent
Your secret has it's consequence and that's on you, babe
I break down every time you call
We're a wreck, you're the wrecking ball
We said no one else, how could you do this, babe?
[Chorus: Sugarland & Taylor Swift]
You really blew this, babe
We ain't getting through this one, babe
This is the last time I'll ever call you, babe
This is the last time, this is the last time
This is the last time
[Bridge: Sugarland]
Since you admitted it, I keep picturing
Her lips on your neck, I can't unsee it
I hate that because of you, I can't love you
Babe
What a shame, didn't want to be the one that got away
How could you do this, babe?
[Chorus: Sugarland & Taylor Swift]
You really blew this, babe
We ain't getting through this one, babe
How could you do this, babe
This is the last time, this is the last time
This is the last time, I'll ever call you babe
[Outro: Sugarland & Taylor Swift]
How could you do this, babe?
I'm here on the kitchen floor, you call but I won't hear it
You said I'm no one else, we ain't getting through this one, babe
I break down every time you call, this is the last time
We're a wreck, you're the wrecking ball
This is the last time, this is the last time
You said I'm no one else, this is the last time
I'll never call you babe
taehyung wife THANK YOU
Danke
YASSS! THX
taehyung wife thanks so much
THANK YOU!!! ❤
Just wondering if their are more such unreleased songs which Taylor has hidden and kept in her music box....even the thought gives me the chills
Edit: thanks for the likes ❤
I know even her early unreleased songs are cute like Your Anything and This Is Really Happening.
Taylor A2A exactly..!!
I like reputation but not in love with it
come on Tay, keep um comin', I love your awesomeness and talent, you amaze me, (we need to pay for that NYC block...ha!), so ...blow our minds with your words!
Swifties and sugar land fans coming together to listen to this song
First country song I heard from Taylor in years!
we need an album with all the unreleased songs
Now only if we could find the 10 minute version of all too well... 😂 love this.
Unfortunately, life isn't perfect...
I’m literally waiting
I wish she'll perform this at rep tour
Cold Air would’ve been awesome if she did, although she did perform some older songs at the rose bowl
Tho she didn’t really sing here she had a small part
she can remix it?
She did it
Cold Air she sang!
Best songwriter in our lifetime ever! TS.
*All Too Well (Red, 2012):* "We dance around the kitchen in the refrigerator light"
*Babe:* "I'm here on the kitchen floor"
The feels 😭
benwyattsbutt also in red: the last time(the song)
Well she wrote this song during the red era
ChiickenPattie I know it's just cool to see the similarities
benwyattsbutt the lyrics are so great - at the end she sings this is the last time ...remember this is the last time i'm telling you this..?? Taylors lyrics are always great 💗💗💗
Things started to make sense. Babe is the bridge of every song lol
I guess Red era Taylor Swift won the fight in the Look What You Made Me Do fight scene! Listening on repeat!
Sugarland + Taylor Swift=😍
I feel like 'pop' is a just a music genre for Taylor, but 'country' is her baby! 😍😍❤️❤️😘😘
This is so wholesome... Goodness gracious, we have another "Better Man" situation on our hands and I'm living for it... Such RED vibes!

I remember my first concert was of Sugarland on some grassy hill in the middle of nowhere. It was amazing. Now my most recent concert was Taylor Swift performing 1989. Also amazing. It would be great to see these two preform again together.
Jennifer, Kristian and Taylor are *all* such amazing performers! Taylor Swift is and always will be my heart but Sugarland are such kick-ass amazing artists! I love them all. They bring such life to this song❤️
Oh God, I NEED to hear Taylor sing this on tour. Her voice is so freaking beautiful and omg this is just the best thing to wake up to.
Sugarland is iconic for singing this song with Taylor! The lyrics are enough to give it away that Taylor was the genius behind them. I feel like we actually are back in the Red era
