First time watching this particular performance, and it was very enjoyable to watch. Everything about it, the guitar, all vocals, instrumentation, the song itself, had the WOW factor. I Shot The Sheriff is a cover song, the original artist was the famous Jamaican Reggae musician Bob Marley. Eric Clapton is widely regarded as one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time, and the only guitarist to play on a Beatles song (While My Guitar Gently Weeps). EC was the lead guitarist in several of my favorite 1960's bands, The Yardbirds, Cream, and Blind Faith. Out of all the Eric Clapton performances of I Shot The Sheriff that I saw, this one was by far my favorite. So thanks for reacting to it, otherwise this masterpiece would have passed me by.
