whoever is responsible for putting up the close-up shot on the big screen when he was soloing, you deserve an award. This was a divine experience i wish other people got to see live. he absolutely is godly with that backdrop
When Eric Clapton plays a solo you know immediately who’s playing. He still has that crispness and tone that he is known for. Hope the Dvd or Blu-ray drops soon for this event. Can’t wait to watch it in its entirety! Thanks Eric for putting together another Crossroads show.
A bit of vintage Clapton there. I think he starts solos with mild trepidation these days because he’s not sure how his fingers are gonna flow but he nailed it there. Great flow, feel with no mistakes. He looks well happy at the end !
@@Robin-Cale17 Eric Clapton is my all time favourite guitar player. I’ve seen him a dozen times. He’s given me more pleasure than I could put into words. I’ve played guitar myself for 30 years and am a good player and songwriter. I know all about his mastery of fluidity and timing and the almost mediative way he approaches his dexterous, emotionally charged, blues drenched guitar solos. I’m just talking about his neuropathy disorder. He’s more hit and miss than he used to be. I’m just excited he played a great solo and he knew it. He’s said in numerous interviews recently he struggles with his fingers sometimes because of the condition which sometimes ruins the “flow” of his fingers.
I’m a diehard fan of EC It was the first time in states only to see EC It will be unforgettable 2 days in my life And I apologize to people around seat no. 119 10 19 I was too excited and sang along this masterpiece loudly

A freaking blues guitar festival and the camera zooms in on the bass!!! On the intro solo, oh yeah every tv performance the camara zoom was not on the guitar hands 😂❤🤷 camaramen are deaf or always distracted
Imagine what he has lived all these years. A legend and still plays and sings great . If anyone knows, when he was playing wih others he always looked their guitats to check where to play and when, is it something usual or thede guest appearances are completely unrehearsed?
My phone basically quit working as soon as I landed in LA I have Verizon I got very few pictures no videos I was front row both nights but also paid for pay perview I will bu the disc When it comes out I have all but 1999.i need that one.

@Lee-ss6uz, Eric always knows how is fingers are going to "flow." It's called command not trepidation. How else did you expect him to look at the end?
