I gotta say this, I am so proud of your progress and it definitely brings me back! I love this video, truly from the bottom of my heart, I salute you brother you are awesome so #keeponcreating ! :D
Weathering is my favorite thing in modeling and I have to say I’ve never seen the real rust step. Very interesting and I’m going to give it a try for sure!
I think I have a new obsession. I got back into gunpla after a long absence, and I'm loving it more than ever before. Seeing people take their builds over the top is awesome, but your video is uniquely hypnotizing and I love it. It's almost meditative, just focusing on the details and getting lost in process. I love it. A lot of what i'm seeing is above what I consider my skill level, but it's useful information. I love knowing what went into making a kit look the way it does. I'm nowhere near experienced enough to give constructive criticism, but I will say I love this calm yet alert vibe I'm getting from your videos. I wouldn't think I could just 'vibe' with watching people customize gunpla, but I'm really enjoying it. I hope you keep the 'chill vibes' moving forward. Great work! edit: I also love the cute little flavor commentary text. It's very cute.
Thank you! Haha my thinking is the main thing I would like to express with the viewer is to vibe and chill with them during the process. Almost as if someone comes up next to me to see what process I’m at from time to time. For viewers who are familiar with the hobby, hopefully they learnt a few things briefly. For viewers who are not into this hobby, hopefully it’s interesting enough to get them curious and try out Gunpla, or even just to encourage them with their own creative work!
Thank you! There's a better way to create cast steel texture, but I didn't have putty at the time. Will do it properly the next time I go for that result. Hope you check out my new video that's available in next 2 hours! With every new video I feel the cringe from previous video... Haha XD
Very nice! I just stumbled upon this when I was looking for a review of the zaku 1 sniper. I will definitely use the watercolor weathering on my own gm sniper 2 I’m making. Keep up the awesome work man!
Oh awesome, would love to see what you do to your GM Sniper II! Maybe you can send me a photo message on my Instagram~ Thank you for watching! Finishing up on the current build and aiming to get new video up on Sunday! Consider subscribing if you wanna see~ :D
Awesome work on this custom bro. I loved how natural the weathering looks :) .. what's more is that you customized the hands with wire!!! I'm amazed. You took HG to a whole new level 🥰 Im looking forward to seeing more
Thank you! It's just wires in the fingers to tweak the hand pose, looked too stiff before~ I'm aiming for deadline of Sunday to get next vid out! And it's not the last time you will see this Zaku! ;D
@@Giocherellone hehe it's small details that can be mistakened easily. First sign for the OG is the body armour colour is moulded brown rather than olive green that is the Yonem Kirks version. 😉
Awesome work and an inspiring vid brother! Thanks for sharing your craftsmanship! Still wondering where the stacked mono-eye piece came from?... 😃🤓🤔👍🏼👍🏼
indeed this video has tons of improvements compared to the 1st one. not that the 1st one is bad. This was real good one. Keep on improving brother! btw I play GBGW too. I have a youtube channel for gbgw which i didnt really use anymore. Ill probably use it for my gunpla youtube channel. Thanks for inspiring man!
BAKBAKAN TV Haha for me the first video makes me cringe, so many noob moves in filming and editing~ but good lessons though! Oh yeah? Add you in the game? Haha I play casually just to get parts so I can mock up colour schemes for future builds.
@@KelgaCreations ATNXW9ES8 pls do and ill follow back. And yes it is a great place to try random colors. Im trying to complete shin musha ingame right now to test colors as I plan to build shin musha in real life next. :) ill sub using my GBGW account too. The one which ill post future gunpla vids hopefully.
@@bentetv4309 Added you! Woah level 200~ :O Haha I want to get full set of Sazabi, just need arms and shield. Got MG Ver.Ka and RG Sazabi so it would come in handy with mock ups! Hehe Perhaps Shin Musha for first video? ;)
I understand this may be a late message but this build is inspiring me to go and build my own Zaku 1 Sniper from scratch. there's only one thing I want to ask if you don't mind answering. What is the connection piece you are using on the backpack to act as the holster for the beam sniper rifle? It looks really cool and I would like to borrow that for my own custom if you don't mind
Please don't copy studioG's "You Ready? This is my XXXX (music drop)" part.. That's the cringiest part because that's his quirk/personality... Hope you find your own voice because you have a lot of talent... Looking forward on the next vid..
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I'm constantly adapting and developing my own style. I'm part of his GFam Patreon, get many of his direct feedback and guidance frequently personally. You can even see his comment here the day I dropped the video. I definitely feel that I'm not doing anything in bad taste and with respect.
I gave seen every variation of "You ready? this is my [ ]" with a music drop and have only heard of StudioGb like last week... its not unique for to anything especially gunpla....
The joints are not completely cut off, so the holes still have something to hold onto~ plus I applied some super glue just the shortened peg around the rim to add extra thickness and grip once the glue has dried on its own. You follow?
It can stand well enough for photos and filming! Haha then it gets packed away~ so it's not standing around on shelves. You can send me a message on my Instagram if you have, then I can take photos to show you the pieces.

That "real rust" technique blew my mind. Thank you.
Yeah it's super easy and cheap to make! Just submerge steel wool in vinegar in a opened glass jar and wait a few days, weeks!

Did you have any issues with your knees being too loose after the final build with the modification that you did? Thinking about doing the same thing
You painted with real rust!?!? ~clap~
It's a cheaper alternative to buying rust effects products~ although doesn't work as well for scale models, but still, good for starting out!

Sorry new builder here, can i get a tutorial on how you moded the kit for assembly after glueing???
You mean after gluing the seam lines?
Yes i saw the pegs get cut out but how does it hold itself up now?
The joints are not completely cut off, so the holes still have something to hold onto~ plus I applied some super glue just the shortened peg around the rim to add extra thickness and grip once the glue has dried on its own. You follow?
I think so but i saw you shave down the inside joint part too and it doesn't look very strong can it still stand on its own?
It can stand well enough for photos and filming! Haha then it gets packed away~ so it's not standing around on shelves.
You can send me a message on my Instagram if you have, then I can take photos to show you the pieces.
Idk why but the hands are off putting. Maybe it's because they look like human hands wearing gloves 😐
