I will say this. He was way more important to the Pats success than Montana was to Niners success. Montana was an incredible player. But San Francisco defense and running game was better than New England. Brady had to do more with less.
I think a really underrated game from Tom Brady (and the Patriots) was the turning point of the 2014 season against the Bengals in Week 5. That game pretty much kicked off the second part of the Patriots dynasty.
That one and then in 2003 when the bills beat the pats 31-0 game 1 and then last game of the season the pats beat the bills 31-0 for revenge. Felt good.
One of my favorite Tom Brady moment and they should of added on the list was 2013 Sunday Night Football against the Denver Broncos down 24-0 halftime and they roar back in the second half and won the game in OT 34-31
This was my all time favorite Brady game. He was perfect! I remember many dropped passes in the first half hitting receivers right between the numbers.
Yes a bit of a crime not to put it #1, in 30 years when you say ‘Tom Brady’ 28-3 will the first thing to come to mind (ok maybe after 7-time SB winner haha)
i think the seattle superbowl one he played better as a whole through-out yes it was a mega comeback but Tom/ Pats were awful first 3 quarters in that superbowl
All the years watching Tom Brady from the time my son was born till now thank you for all those memories I could share with my son you're the best, go Patriots
I’m 24, I have a bunch of family who had tickets throughout the dynasty dating back to 1999, I was always a Pats guy but growing up I wasn’t into sports until I got older. In 2013 I started becoming more of a fan of the sport, then all of a sudden my friend brought me to Gillette and it was like I saw god. Then the ravens game where Edelman had his moment then Blount smashing in the colts, (also remember Jonas gray 😂) then Super Bowl 49 made me truly fall in love with the game, Brady and the Patriots. Very magical, crazy it’s been 10 years since
SB LI for me. Culmination of a season full bs drama with an over the top Brady-esque finish! Goose bumps just thinking about it and remembering how I felt, how I was on my feet screaming. Sometimes, I just watch the game replays for fun! :) I know, I know.. it is crazy! Love you Patriots!!! Love you TB12! ❤❤❤❤ I wish i can be in NE for opening game.
Thanks guys! Would only put the '04 Championchip game with Pittsburg in there somewhere. Steelers 15-1, in Pittsburg, and Brady was reportedly sick. The bomb to Branch after the 4th down stop was one of his prettiest passes - maybe only 2nd to Troy Brown in the overtime Miami game.
after watching his career, no matter how talented a guy player is, greatness is defined by championships , and no quarterback can be as great as Tom unless he can get 7 or surpass him. it shows how much this man cared about playing this game , he's the goat
I'm glad the Saints game made the list. As a fan that lives 20 miles from Saints country, it was sweet payback for the MNF loss to the Saints 4 yrs earlier during my senior yr of HS. I'm also glad the Titans game from 2009 made the list. It was payback over a classmate who was a Titans fan and ripped on me over the Patriots on a frequent basis the year before. He has since come around and realize Brady is the GOAT and has respect for the team.
My favorites Tom Brady moments as a diehard patriots fan is Super Bowl 51 and afc championship game against the chiefs also 2001 tuck rule game vs raiders💙❤️.
For what it is worth. I was at his first and last regular season game. The first ticket was 36 bucks and section 200 right on the 50 yards line. The last game was in the nose bleed section and was 136 bucks. But to see him in action.... priceless
Those consecutive drives against the Hard hitting Seattle Defense and to face a really epic offensive runner such as Beast Mode (thank you Hightower for that stop). and a decent Wilson on offensive creating a challenge each time. Epic game
Great selection! It’s obvious that you worked hard making your choices, and it can always be second guessed, but I think you have done Mr. Brady proud!
Beating the Jags and their #1 defense in the 2017 AFC championship with a ten-point deficit and all those stitches should be on this list somewhere. Heck, you can even make a case for the SB loss that followed. Great list overall!
His first game back after his injury against the bills, to come back with two touchdown passes to Watson is when all Patriot fans were reassured that Brady was still Brady.
Great list, guys! Hard to disagree with any of these choices, but I always think back to that 06 playoff game against the Chargers when it looked like SD was cruising to a championship. Not Brady's best game, but he had it when it counted most. The Troy Brown strip after Brady's pick to keep the game alive was just incredible!
there should be a countdown of underrated moments. namely, off the top of my head: - the 2014 win over the Bengals after the KC disaster - the 2009 opener/Brady’s comeback - 3rd & 14 to Edelman in 49 - 3rd & 10 to Hogan in 51 - drawing Seattle offsides to prevent a safety after Butler’s INT
This list is damn good. I mostly agree with it. I guess my only real note: I think Superbowl 49 is the best Superbowl EVER and the best Patriots moment of all-time but Superbowl 51 is what people think about when they think of Brady. It was the moment that made him THE GOAT for most of the professional pundits who were on the fence with Montana. So I would switch #1 and #3 on your list.
I hated Tom like the first 12 years of his career. But after he won his 4th, then 5th rings I couldn't help but be amazed. When he won his 6th and 7th and I was a fully converted fan. G.O.A.T quarterback and best I ever witnessed.
The 28-3 is such an anomaly it deserves its own video. My favorite is the final drive of their first Super Bowl. The clutches drive in NFL history! I laugh when Stephen A Smith says he was waiting for a Joe Montana moment. From someone who loved the 49ers and Joe. That final drive surpassed anything Joe did!
I love that the Ravens were so mad..anyone that loved football saw it in the Alabama game, and then in the titans game in the nfl..it wasnt unheard of, just very intelligently utilized in a massive game!! "They illegal" is my favorite line ever..
I think what is very underrated game is his first gane back since his ACL injury in 2009 against Buffalo and brings them back from a 11 point deficit thanks to Leodis McKelvi fumble on the kickoff instead of kneeling it in the endzone
I think 28-3 comeback should’ve been #1 just because the pressure was at its peak, the odds were just so impossible to overcome and he still found a way to lead the team to it. I will always love the AFC champ chiefs win too though. I just love how as a Patriot in that game, and as a Buc in the SB, Brady showed Mahomes who the real GOAT will always be. Mahomes may be hailed as the next generations Brady by all analysts, but they’ll always remember those few blemishes the Mahommies will never be able to overcome - He could never best Brady when it counted 😜
I know, 28-9 was great and amazing. Just remember, it doesn't happen without the 10 point comeback against LOB to prevent a B2B SB winner. He was surgical that 4th quarter against the Seahawks, which made him Jack the Ripper against the Falcons. In all honesty, you can't really rank these fairly especially when there are SB wins attached to them.
My dad and I were at the Seahawks patriots game and it’s honestly the best moment of my life being there with my dad and watching the patriots win at the Super Bowl. We hadn’t won a ship in years and we lost the worst one in that stadium while also everyoen was saying how great Seattle was then to just beat them like that in the end…. Easily the best way to show why I love football.
I needed this video. In recent years, the Patriots organization seems to do everything that they can to put together a team that is not fun to watch. I want a player that i like and is exciting. Tiquan? Can't stay on the field. Bourne? Lives in the doghouse. Zappe? Practice squad. Hopefully, our long-shot late pick receivers pan out.
Butler interception was ok but Hightowers stop a play or 2 before that was better, he stopped beast mode from scoring with a piece of his shoulder while holding a seahawks player at the same time
every Superbowl should've been represented lol.. but every moment you had was worth being included. simply put, there are just too many moments that show Brady being excellent!
Here are MY top 12 Tom Brady moments/games/plays. I didn’t start watching the Patriots, or the NFL for that matter, until the 2006 season; so some of the ones that SHOULD be on this list (like The Tuck Rule Game, the first three Super Bowls, 04' AFC Championship Game against Steelers, etc.), won’t, because those games I don’t remember/didn’t watch live: 1. Super Bowl 51 comeback 2. Super Bowl 49 3. 2018 AFC Championship Game (vs. KC) 4. Game-winning touchdown (to Moss) vs. the Giants in Week 17 of 2007 (2 records, one play) 5. 2014 Divisional Game vs. Baltimore 6. Throw to Gronk in Super Bowl 53 7. TD to Thompkins in Week 6 of 2013 8. Comeback in Week 14 of 2013 (vs. Denver) 9. Week 6 2009 vs. TN 10. 2017 AFC Championship Game (vs. JAX) 11. Week 6 of 2018 vs. KC 12. Week 5 of 2014 season vs. Cincinnati Honorable Mentions: Scramble against Brian Urlacher in 2006, Ending of Week 1 in 2009 vs. Buffalo, the Comeback in Week 9 vs. Indy in 2007, 2007 AFC Championship Game (vs. SD-leading the team to become the first to ever record an 18-0 record), and Week 6 of 2016 season vs. Cincinnati (his first start at home following his four-game suspension)
Robert Kraft said the victory over the Falcons was the sweetest and I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with the ownwr of the team. The Patriots vs SeaHawks game was better. They were so evenly matched it could have gone either way. Outstanding play after play during the entire game. That was the day I knew for sure he was the Greatest of all time. Everything else after that is just overkill.
Tom could have broke some big records in that snow game against the Titans. Wish they would have kept on the gas. Superbowl 39 is one of the best games of all time though.
I agree with Falcons game being below Seahawks victory, but most won't. Both improbable. I felt like Falcons game they played worse, Brady had a few almost picks. Seahawks game, Brady was basically perfect the last two drives against the Legion of Boom.
One word to describe Tom Brady . Goat
Thank You Tom Brady For Everything You Did For The Patriots For 20 Years You're My All Time Favorite Quarterback And The G.O.A.T🐐
I hope you enjoy the next 20 years of poverty. You deserve it!
Chiefs AFC championship game was really Brady saying “you’ll have your time, but not today Mahomes”
And to prove that he didn't need to be at home to win in the playoffs AND to emphasize that the dynasty was not over!
Man what a game that was!
3 times in OT he converted 3rd and 10 *Clutch*
@Stratoliner5 James Develin should also be credited he was a savage fullback blocker
Hell, he got Mahomes one more time when the Bucs beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. 🤣
Tom Brady will forever be loved by New England sports fans. Give that man a statue.
he for sure will
We know it's coming.
And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans, as he helped them (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) win Super Bowl 55.
The MVP of the greatest dynasty ever in NFL history
He is the dynasty.

We're on to Cincinnati
Lol I just imagine a 16yrold kid wrote this lol who has no recognition of how it all started 😅
Yeah nothing screams "greatest moment" than beating Andy Dalton at home lol but I get where you're coming from.
That one and then in 2003 when the bills beat the pats 31-0 game 1 and then last game of the season the pats beat the bills 31-0 for revenge. Felt good.

This was my all time favorite Brady game. He was perfect! I remember many dropped passes in the first half hitting receivers right between the numbers.
In my opinion, the 28-3 Superbowl Comeback should of been #1
Agreed
It would of been one but him beating the number one defense. Who looked prime to be the next team until Brady stepped in
Yes a bit of a crime not to put it #1, in 30 years when you say ‘Tom Brady’ 28-3 will the first thing to come to mind (ok maybe after 7-time SB winner haha)
i think the seattle superbowl one he played better as a whole through-out yes it was a mega comeback but Tom/ Pats were awful first 3 quarters in that superbowl
Seattle was a much better game against a significantly better opponent
As a longtime Patriots fan Brady is the greatest of all time nobody will ever beat his records he will forever be a patriot 💙❤️
Tom was him and we were super lucky to have him for 20 years❤🐐🐐
Now you guys are going to be trash for the next 40
Great list, but I do think that his 24-0 comeback against Manning's Denver Broncos should at least get an honorable mention.
Totally
Tom Brady the goat! Thank you for the memories 🐐🫡💯👏👏👏👏👏

Now we suck and I’m watching this video to remind myself that it was amazing with Brady
The Edelman catch in the Falcons comeback was just incredible.
The first kick of Vinatieri was the greatest of all time. 45 yards in that snow storm!!!!!
Brady once threw for an NFL record 5 TD's in a New England snowstorm in 1 quarter (2009 vs Titans)

Holy Nostalgia. Reliving the last 20+ years. So much talk about the current top tier NFL talent, but we'll never see another Brady again.

There were TWO 10 point deficits in that game.Jags went downhill in subsequent years and are a team to watch. I watch both the Pats and Jags,js.
