Forst video Ive watched from you and Im madly impressed! Was expecting some drawn out podunky video on jerrying a turbo to work. But, you go into welding, machining, modifying, and really doing proper work to make things work. All with little fluff, moving from sequence to sequence efficiently not wasting viewer time. Very impressive keep it up!
For egr delete, I just sandwich flat sheet metal between the flange and the egr valve, gives a stock look.

I got a 96 base as well with no factory a/c. I bought everything and installed A/c into it works great.
not bad bruh! I'm planning on getting a 01 Tacoma with the extended cabin, just enough the put some decent subs in, get it lowered a little and get some black lights to put under, tint the windows, and of course turbo it. great vid bruh!

Got a 99’ 6 cylinder manual with about the same amount of miles. How did this work out in the long run?

Love it! Wouldn't quite qualify for the $500 turbo challenge, but still super cheap and badass. :D
If I had one bit of advice up front it would be to definitely make a support bracket for the turbo.
Otherwise, I would worry about that manifold cracking right where the square pipe meets round.
This is gonna be a spool speed monster and be lots of fun for sure. Love it and hype to see more!
Where did you get the 5lb internal wastegate I am looking to turbo my mini truck and want to start on 5 psi before I do rods and pistons

My 3rz went at 380k. It was pampered it's whole life and still met its end. How's the truck now after a few years with the turbo on.
Thinking about doing this swap into my 92 pickup. Just looking for a little more umph and thinking about a turbo as well.

I have a 99 Taco with the 3rz in it. i bought the "Street Demon" turbo kit which is set up to run 8psi. you said anything less than 8 you really don't need an intercooler. Since I'm running 8psi should i go through the headache of the intercooler or just straight port it to the intake? i have the same EGR delete kit also. my 3rz is about 15k from a full rebuild so i wanted to improve my commute to work times or smoke the occasional hopped up lawnmowers that are all around town.

I got the same truck will Mustang Bullitt wheels fit on it I got a 5 lug 5 114.5 the big thing is I don't know the offset I'm thinking around 30 would be right for it can you help love your truck where'd you get the fender flares also

You could but Toyota made superchargers and that may be a better option because it's a v6

Dude how is this taco running right now for you? Did that ebay manifold hold up well? They say only 3 manifolds work for the 2rz turbo longterm..

U need a preload on the wastegate. Unless u did that before tack welding it on there

Yes you should always run an intercooler

And throw that turbo gasket and manifold gasket to trash,use a stainless shim gasket for the turbo and genuine gasket on manifold
