- We went down to Auckland, New Zealand back in 2014 to film this incredible machine built by Nigel Petrie of Australia. It was shipped over to NZ in order to film the final driving sequence for "Dream.Build.Drive" a film you can see in full length here. vimeo.com/93566294.
We basically did a behind the scenes feature of the drift ute as it was being filmed for the larger scale production. We were more than thrilled to see this thing in action for the first time since Nigel built it.
You can order the Volume 1 DVD or Blu Ray at www.grinder-tv.com
Full Length Documentary can be seen here

I remember following this build in concept on speedhunters years ago and what a masterpiece it has become from the tube chassis hand built to the a-arms and built in air jacks, great job on the edit guys!
Ya know when I saw the thumbnail I immediately thought the motor was gonna be a 1jz or a 2jz. Was very refreshing to see that it wasn’t 👌🏽. Beautiful build 🙏🏽
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! It's so LOW and it drifts like a badass and sounds like a Silvia!! That's seriously the most badass truck I ever seen!!!
This is the best vehicle i have ever seen built for drift , its an absolute work of art!!
Been following this build since 2011. Glad to see it get more coverage. Nigel is the fab boss!
Seen a few people post vids on this truck and I've watched all of them cause it's a beauty a masterpiece pure craftsmanship
I remember following the build on SH a couple years ago. Nice to see it ripping! Seems like it's hard to drift being so light in the ass end. Comes back around and straightens out pretty doggone quick!
No one:
Man been following engineered to slide for years on instagram, love his passion
The Quality of this build is Legendary. I want to build a car like this sometime.

Great video !!!! Drifting looks like fun with a mini-truck.
I remember this ute many year ago when it was just the frame. It was on display at caldar park drift meet in Melbourne. Nigel is a true artist. If it's the guy I'm thinking of
