They made a huge mistake not releasing this game to home consoles it also was 4 players on the acrade version this would be fun game for a birthday party
Spidey has teamed up with both Hawkeye and Namor previously. But yeah, their appearances here are random. I could see Daredevil being a more appropriate choice since DD and Spidey are friends
@@rockfresh1993 I agree, the fighting games are great but the price is wrong and not even enough content per cabinet for the asking price, like if all the marvel games were in 1 arcade cabinet I could see it being worth maybe $200, luckily most of the arcade 1ups games are on separate compilations like tmnt for $40 vs the $400 arcade with only 2 games.

Why can Sub-Mariner suddenly fire short little electric bolts? I've NEVER seen him do that anywhere else! Why does Venom sound like such a doofus? Which Green Goblin is Spider-man supposed to be fighting? Norman Osborn and Bart Hamilton were both dead at this time, and Harry hadn't yet become villainous. If I were going to make a new list of characters for the players it'd be: Spider-man (of course) Black Cat Daredevil (one of Spidey's best friends) And either Silver Sable (good friend of Spidey's) or Captain America (maybe not a best friend, but he and Spidey have teamed up countless times before and he's got more name recognition than Hawkeye or Sub-Mariner in these days. I wouldn't put any flyers like the Human Torch or "heavy hitters" like Thor or the Hulk in, because they'd make too many plot holes.)
