    Let’s see “boring team” is super subjective. The Celtics move the ball and the scoring can come from anywhere, and they all play great defense… if that’s boring than I like boring basketball. You want to bring up other teams wins statistics but don’t bring up the Celtics record… they did their work in the regular season for great seeding. You bring up those opponents not having their star players but fail to mention them not having Kristops Porzingus. This is a terribly biased video.

    • @cooperhodgson7008
      @cooperhodgson7008 2 месяца назад

      No way you’re that dense though. I’m not saying the Celtics wouldn’t have made the finals if these players did play all games, because I do think the C’s were making the finals no matter what. The heat had their best player ( jimmy) out for the entire series. Cabs had their best player (d mitch) miss some time, which I believe was 2 games if I’m not wrong. Then the pacers had their best player also miss two games (hali). Those players all have a much greater impact on their teams success than tingus does on the Celtics, and even that statement wasn’t true, then it would just add to the “Celtics super team” narrative (I don’t agree with it but I’m stating the facts)

The entire C's starting lineup can average 20 points per game. Thats better than the 2017 warriors who only had 3 players to do that. The C's are unbelievably stacked and the fact they arent getting the superteam treatment is bizarre. Cause they are a superteam. Now i could see them being overlooked as a super team because JT is the most overrated player in the league and is JB's sidekick, but you still got 4 guys who have made all-star games and a guy who many considered to get snubbed this year. C's fans arrogance is unbearable, this is why no one outside of boston fans like the C's. They are a team full of pathetic team stacking losers

      @@ryanholsapple6809 I'm actually inclined to agree that boston IS a super team, but they certainly aren't viewed that way and I think it's because we are lacking a tier 1 player that almost all super teams in the past have had. People want to put JT in that tier 1 category but i really don't think hes there, but he's at the very top of the next tier and the reason the C's are so good is because 1 through 5 is filled with players just outside that top tier. Defensively we also have an extremely high floor and a high ceiling. Our worst defender in the starting 5 is a good defender and everyone knows what a beast Jrue is on D.
      there is a tendency for people to overestimate the gap between the tier 1 super stars and the rest of the league. The media glorifies the superstars and treats everyone else like they are scrubs which is part of the reason I think that the celtics strength kind of went under the radar...and even despite destroying dallas they aren't getting the super team treatment.

    • @ryanholsapple6809
      @ryanholsapple6809 2 месяца назад

      @cwjalexx Couldn't agree more. Like you said they are a superteam, just not viewed as one. Depth mixed with star power is what makes a superteam. Like the 2017 warriors with their 3 headed monster trio followed by some of the best role players. The 2024 Celtics have that as well. I agree Tatum is not in the tier 1 of players, I would argue that Brown is better, but this C's team would destroy the 2012 Miami heat. And the 2012 Miami heat are considered a superteam. The C's were definitely a superteam this year and I'm glad I've finally met a level headed C's fan

    No, the 1987 Lakers did.
    They beat:
    The 37-45 Nuggets in 3
    The 42-40 Warriors in 5
    And the 39-43 (LOL) Sonics in 5.
    This was, without question, the easiest cakewalk I remember.
    They played the defending champion Celtics that were all beat up going through MJ's Bulls and 2-50 win teams in the Bucks and Pistons.
    They never got grief for plowing through a weak conference and winning the title, so I don't want to hear Jack now.

    Celtics may have an "easy" road to the NBA finals, however after that regular season and the look of the teams in the east you can easily admit that they would have made the finals anyways. Don't even try to argue that a healthy Bucks team is beating a healthy Celtics team, cause Dame this season was just disappointing.

    I can think of a lot of other teams that are more boring than the Boston Celtics and I'm tired of them talking about how they had an easy schedule no they didn't because they led the NBA all season they got the best record in the playoffs they beat the Dallas Mavericks 3 * twice in the regular season once in the finals inter well on their way unless there's a total collapse which I doubt of winning their 19th inter well on their way unless there's a total collapse which I doubt of winning their 19th championship or inter well on their way unless there's a total collapse which I doubt of winning their 18th championship and the last time I checked they've done it with injuries without their Star center so their shoots that theory down the freaking drain about how teams were missing their star players so were the Celtics they just have a better bench so far are you sell Decatur's out there kiss my but

There's been like 1 or 2 good teams and a bunch of teams that only make the playoffs because theres 6 more seeds to fill. Makes me actually want that hypothetical format where the Top 16 best records make it regardless of conference. Round 3 and the Finals would be must watch TV.

      That assertion makes no sense. Experience has been, and always will be a factor. Many times it’s the determining factor if the teams are even, or even if the other team is better.
      If Dallas had a micro-dose more experience, they’d be 1-1 or up 2-0.
      If Boston had a micro-dose more experienced in 2022, they’d have beaten the Warriors.
      Bad argument.
