I have a big problem with sim808 shield.
In the arduino DFRobot library, example SIM808_TCPConnection.
The serial monitor displays an error 404.
I want to communicate the sim808 with online API.

What kind of SIM card do we need to use? I need to know ASAP i am working on a project with deadlines
if u want to send to ur website,u need a internet 2g/3g/4g plan with the sim card.otherwise u can send the data as plain sms to your mobile using a normal sim plan

Sadly the service these shields rely on has been, is being or will be phased out in many countries
For me this does not work. The net led never does anything at all, and the forum is of no help:-( really bad product. Never buying dfrobot again
Did you try with a external supply ?
@@MARCOBRIANCOTTO Yes - the problem was that the boot (S1) was broken. I replaced it and then it worked
