In this video I made my own GPS Tracker using GSM/GPRS module on TTGO TCall board. Using this project you can track anything from anywhere as it is battery powered and doesn't require any wifi router for connectivity

Hi, finally you did and it’s very nice. This project will be more fruitful if few changes/ additional features like setting geo location alert which sends the sms to mobile application if the vehicle moved from set geo location and need some inputs to find engine starting and stopped condition, inbuilt battery low level sms, and outputs like can immobilise the vehicle when command from the application if needed. And the important is all data like apn can we update OTA like what you did previously entered credentials in Blynk OTA.... my requirements may be added more but those or worth to added. Thanks for your knowledge sharing with us👍🏻

It's great if you can also have a speaker to talk to someone sitting on your bike and tell them to get off or just have a conversation with them using this. I'm trying to make a motorcycle alarm and remote but also with internet and GPS like this for a long time.

add a relay
i made this project 5 years back, the trigger/sos button was hidden in watch/ornament that you are wearing. its easy to activate the sos via external trigger than to reach out for the device in times of emergencies.
Improvements:
1. Battery
2. Sleep mode: to save battery life
3. A high pitch buzzer to alert the nearby people
4.Save the latitude /longitude on a ftp server to track the location later
and many more which i implemented in my project

Great Work... It would be awesome if you can make it work as a more complex vehicle tracking project,... like cutting power and also tracking your vehicle without having to press any button, just by activating it in some kind of standby mode
hey can we use an arduino instad of using esp
instead of sending Lat long as SMS text, you can also send a map link with lat long params. Opens directly in map.
U are good G but I think the sms should also add your last location city or area

You have the GPS Modul connected to RX and TX from the LilyGo T-Call board. But what are the pin numbers for the serial?
Please do the same task using some other boards instead of TTG TCALL BOARD like arduino, etc. Please bring a video soon, waiting eagerly!

In emergency times, it is very difficult to long press for contact other people..... It should be design to make call and msg without being a long button press on project board...
Sms is good feature, but you can make another blynk virtual pin and give it value either 0 or 1, and make an app that has maps or gps navigation software implemented, so when value on that v pin is 1 which means it's emergency, the app could send the notification and when you open it navigation is already started without you having to find the maps and then type the coordinates. I'm overthinking this simple invention, probably sms with ready coordinates to copy and paste is enough 😅

Yes expecting project like device like small GPS with panic SMS and call (tiny emergency device) button , and device should able to call specific person after pressing button and saying his or her name . As we can see in " taken "movie by --- Liam neeson(Bryan mills) and device can be operated through voice commands like : call George , send location to George. . .
