Dear friend, You have to wait until device get the coordinates from the GPS receiver. Some times it get quickly, but sometimes it take too much time to gather coordinates.

Yes, It is less accurate. Because it is our calculation error. I get latitude and longitude with 6 decimal places. But one of my friend told, that 6 decimal places have another calculations. But sorry I can't remember what they are. Please can you search it and let me know. Thank you!!!

You can reduce the memory by changing data types. But UNO has enough memory for this. It gives float values for coordinates. But I transfer into string for send SMS. I think heading is a direction of wind, but I don't sure about that

I have reviewed the SIM card's connections and docking and apparently everything is OK. However the "Sim808 init error" message remains. Regarding the LED's I could see that the CENTRAL LED is always lit while the NET LED flashes every 3 seconds, however the PPS LED did not light at all. I'm also not able to write anything on the serial monitor, actually I even write, but I do not get any feedback. Does this module have a problem? Anyway thank you!

Vimach Cyber, you are welcome! I never used nano. But I think you can do this by using nano. Main thing is that you need care about your memory space when declaring the variables.

Yes friend, sometimes I am wait for 30min or 1 hr. Then I reset the system and try and try until it get the gps coordinates

Sim808 EVB 3.2.2 compatible with 9v? but in this module it is 3 to 5 v
I tried using 9V Everyday battery for my gsm SIM808 EVB 3.2.2. it works. But am not sure how long it will last. I haven't tried it yet.

Until device get the gps coordinates, it will run on infinite loop. Can you bring your setup to outside, you can get gps coordinates quickly.

I have an issue with the GPS AT comands, they all return Error, Just the GPS cant even attach the gps with AT+CGPSPWR

I have a problem where my serial monitor only displays the message "Sim808 init error" .. could you help me?
Sim Init error comes, when having not enough of signal strength or Sim card metal tray, doesn't correctly contact with metal pins of SIM808's SIM tray
I have reviewed the SIM card's connections and docking and apparently everything is OK. However the "Sim808 init error" message remains. Regarding the LED's I could see that the CENTRAL LED is always lit while the NET LED flashes every 3 seconds, however the PPS LED did not light at all.
I'm also not able to write anything on the serial monitor, actually I even write, but I do not get any feedback.
Does this module have a problem? Anyway thank you!

Yes. When you using Arduino UNO, It gives memory insufficient error. But it is not effect to run this code. What is your project and what is your institute friend?

can you please make another tutorial for, send GPS coordinates to mysql database in server and GPS coordinates to sms in same time.i was make this work fine, but cat run above two methods in same time.

Yes, Using Single Module(implemented in vehicle tracking system) can insert data to mysql database in server via GPRS. But still I don't know how do it.

I never used nano. But I think you can do this by using nano. Main thing is that you need care about your memory space when declaring the variables.

And I tried to send the message to sim808 but the module did not receive the message even though I tried to call sim and have feedback and I always supply 12V for it during the run. I think part of the readSMS () function, because it can not read the message from the external device, it will not run the next step.

Please Refer, my Updated_Vehicle_Tracking.ino. Its line No 126, I put "maps.google.com/maps?q=%s,%s" like this code. (%s = latitude, longitude). When you sending this link to someone, its automatically converted to the underlined blue color string. Because, it is web URL. Thank you!!!

Can you send me some images of your SIM808 module and output of serial monitor please? (mewanindula@gmail.com). Because There have different type of SIM808 modules friends. Some types doesn't support to DFRobot library

Please Use 3G SIM card and, Please recharge the SIM Card. And try again friend.
Cause of this issue is SIM card friend.
You have to change your SIM card to 3G and Please check the Credit Amount
