There were children in the audience! LOL every time I've seen Simon speaking at a children's event (only twice, admittedly), he's said something inappropriate. He'd make a very cool uncle. ;)

I like it that he never talks down to children, none of them do.

Ben wasn't there to reign him in...

Thanks for sharing this publicly. It's a shame the audience were a bunch of silent twits. I don't understand why they don't cheer. Why are you in the audience if you're not enthused about Horrible Histories?

Excellent! Thank you for uploading this. It's just a shame that we'll probably never get to see the exclusive Bob Hale sketch.

I wonder at this point whether The Six knew that they were going to leave, or whether they were replaced first...Ben and Larry were already writing Bill at this point..At the Bafta's in 2013, Caroline looked subdued, I think she knew she had lost them as they have become a troupe.

Simon and Martha have a very good bond. I love it that Simon talks about Jim

I didn't know Larry & Ben were already actually writng Bill at that point!... From every interview I've seen/read tho, BBC just decided not to make the show anymore, & far from deciding to leave, the Idiots have said they were sad about the show ending, & thought they'd miss working together every year & decided to work on the ideas they already had. Series 5 was filmed late 2012, & they would've known then that it'd be the last... Then BBC decided to reboot it in 2015, which is why there's a gap- & why the reboot's inferior; you might've read the interview with Greg where he said BBC made it "more in line with the curriculum"... At which I shouted "stuff they DON'T teach you in school!" No hate to anyone involved, I just don't enjoy much of it cos it's a kiddie educational show, not the hectic brilliance it once was.

@@beth7935 They had gone to Sky with Yonderland. It was Ben and Mat’s idea and that was how they began their way of working with the six of them. I think they wanted to get out of HH to do other things. Mat was working with James Corden on The Wrong Mans. Simon had got married and begun screen writing. In the S5 Q and A, they were already filming Yonderland,. The 2015 eps are good when Jim and Simon are starring. Jim’s Churchill is great and the song is gorgeous.

Ben and Larry had their second draft by series three..They had got the six of them together in a pub and shown them all the script, it started from then.. Then Yonderland came up developed from an idea from Ben and Mat..I listen to an interview with Martha about it..

@@emmyjo720 I clearly haven't heard that interview! :o But that's really interesting!!... & really cute that Ben & Larry basically pitched Bill to the others in a pub, lol! I can't remember which interview I've heard what in; I started madly bingeing everything 3yrs ago :D And yeah, I do like some stuff in series 6- especially Jim & Simon ofc! I love Jim as Napoleon, & that song is the bomb :D
