The new Otto Audio II II II II is probably the best metal amp sim I've ever tried. I would even say it's better than any physical amp for super low tuned metal
My go to has been guitar rig for years. I always manage to find what I’m looking for. I do agree with you though, use real amps! Make your own killer tones!
If you have a clean DI of a bass guitar, could you duplicate it, and use 1 signal with the amp sim and the other signal to process the clean DI , and then blend them together?
Technology has changed so much! What amp sims have you been using lately?
I use the Neural DSP Tone King Imperial MKII plugin a lot.
Being a ''GREAT'' guitars player like You Warren help a lot on finding the perfect tone. There`s no short cut

Thanks ever so much! I really appreciate it
Positive Grid Bias Amp 2 ( the updated version ) sounds good
THU with rig expansion. The VH4 GAS is unbelievable.
I really like Positive Grid’s Bias Amp
I liked it but after buying THU with the rig expansions I never use it except for fx in from of THU because their pedals are amazing.
You give really balanced, but always full answers.
S gear 3. unreal..
Scuffham S-Gear is great

If you use PRS archon vst, try different cabs than stock to achieve better high gain sounds. And check out THU 0verloud. It's like having a vst kemper
Haven't mic'd a real amp in almost a decade. With enough tweaking the off the shelf models do just fine for me.
I make psybient music all In a korg workstation but I do use synths and acoustics

Like playing live with a kemper profiler. It’s okay but a real amp beat it always
Interesting
Thanks ever so much
😊
Thanks ever so much Audrey!!
I far prefer hearing amp sims over a guitar part written and played by AI.
(:
Absolutely
i find that nowadays most amp sims are at least pretty good. it’s rare to find something released in the past few years that isn’t useable
