Tried all the steps and still no connection, it was just connected but one of the pods wasn’t working at all but was fully charged, that’s why I hit the forget device option and now all your methods hasn’t help. Now I regret disconnecting it, could have used one side pod until that one crank out too
I’ve got mine to work. Had to fully charge the case and AirPods then shook the case while the AirPods were inside and also snapped the case closed HARD (don’t go to hard) a couple times and it worked

@@arty2019 yeah I kept pressing the button on the back of the case (I wasn’t using Wi-Fi I used 4g) and it finally came up on my phone after a while, I’m not sure how it connected though
The red color is there but it turns off in 2-3 seconds and I switched chargers multiple times but the same result and it never turns white even if I press that back AirPods button 😢

what I just did literally was I took out the right AirPod that wasn't working. It wasn't connecting and I left the last one inside and I hold the button and they connect and when I clicked it it connect to my phone it once again.
Every pair of AirPods I’ve owned have lasted one year then just given up. These things are so expensive and Apple needs to stop with their planned obsolescence.
Dude, ive had my airpods for 3 days and this happend, when i open the up there is no white-flashing light instantly, its just green, when i try to pair the up and hold the back button it starts flashing but seconds later it turns green and stops flashing and boom “connection failed”
It says not my airpods but they are mine. I forgot device to re-connect them. I hold the back button then it says not you airpods tap connect brings me to hold the back button to connect and nothing pops up
I finally found a permanent solution. Took a hammer and smashed the airpods (it was liberating). Next on the road to nirvana would be to smash the Iphone too. First it was a green screen on the Iphone and now this. Peace at last. Nokia 3310.....here I come😂

Mines are just flashing white when I open the case and they are not connecting, they are fully charge, no pop up, no nothing,
Kevo bro, Make sure both your Pods are in the, then open AirPods case Lid, Press the button until it flashes red light. It might fix the issue. 😊

It will pop up but it doesn’t have the connect button. I’ve tried connecting it in Bluetooth settings but it still won’t connect.
