it plays the sound when theyre connected, and says it is on my bluetooth, but the sound still plays out of my phone and doesnt have the headphone icon next to my battery.
Lots of good tips here for some people but for me, they never worked. My airpods just keep blinking white and don't show up on the bluetooth devices screen :(
Same, after charging and hard resetting they were able to pair to the phone but in bluetooth they connect and disconnect on their own every few seconds

This worked. I ended up resetting my network settings and 20 other things before I got to this. The Apple website recommended "resetting my AirPods" but I didn't realise that meant holding the button until it turned white again
Best video on problem solving AirPods pairing issues! Putting my AirPods on a charger(even though they were fully charged) during the pairing process fixed my problem. I would never have thought to do that because they were fully charged. Thanks for saving me. trip to the Apple store.
My AirPods 3rd gen is having this weird bug. Once I put them back inside the case they won’t connect to all my devices. I have to go to settings “forget device” and reconnect them, But it’ll only connects to that specific device and not the other ones, and once I put them Back inside the case I’m back to square one.. WHATS GOING On ??? This is so annoying
hi , I bought Air pods from an auction the problem the airpods doesn't aper in the list of devices. It could be that the perveos owner still have it in his devices list. how can I fix the problem please
Helpful, but one additional tip that you may want to add is to cycle your phone off and back on again. I tried to do the method within the video about 10 times before I turned the phone off and back on, and only then did the method work.
Nothing is working, my air pods still won’t connect smh. They haven’t connected in over a week. When I cllick to connect them to my phone it just has the loading circle and does nothing. Then “connection unsuccessful” pops up every time
