I still fondly remember how in 1989/1990, together with other UN officials, Bangladeshi peacekeepers came to my country, Namibia, to ensure peace and free and fair elections for everyone, which led to our Independence in March 1990. The Bangladeshis we got to know personally, and some were guests at our home, were kind and friendly people.

From an outsider point of view it seems like bangladesh fell for the revolutionary liberalist fever similar to tunisis egypt sudan etc etc they overthrow leaders and end up installing dictators and these dictators have deep ties with their financiers who have colonialist plans for the country.
