      Hey man, thanks for the feedback. Hadn’t seen any activity from y oh in a while! What is scr tone? I have been digging into the kemper much more trying orher profiles (non slash ones) and also trying different speaker output options. This was a profile of a cranked silver jubilee and I’m using the Boss Katana as speaker. Had a cool tone I thought. I’m realizing a like a lot of Marshall tones, like plexi’s and jubilees. They aren’t modded or don’t have all the EQ added like slash profiles so not as much treble but I really dig the tone for lead, especially for more bluesy stuff. I actually find it’s in some ways eater to play lead with a bit less gain, easier to keep things quieter and a bit more tidy. I also just got the kemper Kabinent which is a 1x12 combo made for the kemper. It seems really cool so far but I’m still figuring it all out. Lots of options as far as speaker simulations and can on versus can off and lots of EQ to. Get lost in! I have 2 months for a money back return so I’m gonna really give it a good try, but so far it seems like it’s gonna be good.

      @slashtrio Sorry, little typo. I meant Steve Ray Vaughan . Man, I'm so happy for you. Cranked Marshall tone at the whisper levels. That's exactly what you were looking for, and let me tell you, it sounds killer. Perfect tone with even better playing. Waiting for more. ..

      @@Kajojek thanks man! Yea, I thought maybe you meant SRV but then I googled the first thing you typed and I gave me something about bass tone ha. At any rate, yea the kemper is proving to be pretty enjoyable. I do have to admit that this particular tone was a bit loud compared to what I usually do. I was home alone and decided to turn it up a bit, but you can still actually hear the acoustic sounds from the strings so it can’t be too loud. But it was loud enough to get that amp in the room vibe. I have spend that last several nights spending lots of time tweaking and tinkering with the nobs ha. I have also been kind of A B testing the katana versus the kemper cab to see if the kemper is justified. It’s a bit dizzying with all the options. You can chose the speaker emulation so it’s like vintage 30s, green backs, cream backs, and so on. Each definitely has a different character but I can’t speak to how much they sound like the real thing. But, ultimately it terms of getting an awesome range of tones at home volume, seems pretty darn good.

    Can you take tabs for Ain't Going Down Slash's solo, please?

    • @slashtrio
      @slashtrio  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there, thanks for your comment. I actually never use tabs! I never have, I find it very tedious. I learn everything by ear or just watching instructional stuff. I’m not familiar with the Slash song you mentioned, what album is that from? Thanks! 😎🎸

      @@Alexhangman I see I have heard because I commented on it 10 months ago! Ha. Yea that solo is bad ass, very classic slash. I could probably figure out some of it by ear, especially the bluesy / southern rock style licks he often does, but some of those fast runs man, maybe beyond my skills. I’m just getting to where I can play more fast legato slash style stuff, but it’s still very much a work in progress. Cheers man 🎸🔥

    You outplayed Slash

    • @slashtrio
      @slashtrio  11 месяцев назад +2

      Ha! Yea I know slash is no guitar virtuoso but I like that style of play. I’m a big fan of early Clapton and SRV, with those two having much better vibrato and blues feel overall. Slash was just kind of like taking the blues and smashing it with punk rock. Not quite classic blues but not like all the 80s shedders of the time. I dig it. In all honesty there are guys on RUclips who play “slash style” in a manner that I prefer to slash himself
      I looked at your stuff and you are just in another part of the galaxy. Very cool.
