I love how Aggron was already a powerful mon, but mega evolution turned it into a hulking mass of tungsten that destroys everything in its path like Godzilla
As if his Defense wasn't enough, they had to give him a higher base defense and Filter.

now he can't get 4x damage from fighting and ground type

I did something similar with my aggron, except in trick room and it was a sleep talk set. Right now I am using my favorite grass type Gogoat and doing some silly things on battle spot and getting alot of wins.

ah one of my personal favorite megas. I love tank mons have you tried pairing it with a dusknoir? if you focus on hp and it's defenses and run leftovers with shadow sneak, earthquake, pain split, and will-o-wisp. there you have my Charon the ghost wall.

His mega is very tough, but he has some VERY handicaping weakness (x4 dmg taken against combat-Type and ground-type attacks).
So even though he's one of the toughest pokemon in the game, he still gets OS pretty easily, so not many people play it.
Erectar Denara mega aggron loses rock type so its no longer x4 weak to anything. It’s ability also reduces damage from supereffective attacks

I'll never understand the greedy people that try to set up on you as you're sweeping them.
Well if you have a speed advantage it can actually make a huge difference depending on the exact scenario. Sometimes you can OHKO with a boost but otherwise you get walled by something that can recover. Also if you can boost and then KO you have that boost for whatever comes out next. Samantha just had a crap team and made bad choices here. She should have brought out Selazzle the moment she saw Shuckle so it could avoid a speed drop. Shuckle never carries offensive rock moves so Selazzle could have easily dealt with it and scared off both Vivillon and Mega Aggron.

Cristhian Montoya Ice Punch is good but do you need Dragon Tail?
Jahmel the great well I use dragon tail to do chip damage with Stealth Rock and ruin any setups the opponent thinks they can pull off.
