  • The title says it all. We get a loan to buy some more spells, do a couple of quests to pay some of the loan off and I forgot to mention but to also get some reputation with the Mage's guild. Also we do a tiny bit of the main quest.

      I like Chechnya and I needed a new name for a RUclips channel. This is not my first RUclips channel, the last two RUclips channels were destroyed by evil people.

    What do you think of the rumor that Valve will make Goldsrc open source in the medium-long term future?

      I doubt it personally and from what I know there's no need for it. It would be nice to do it but as far as I know, Xash3D is already capable of running Half-Life just fine and it's more powerful than the original gold source engine. Like there's that one Half-Life mod called Go-Mod that had its latest version ONLY run on Xash3D because Xash removes a lot of the limits.
      If Valve does it however, I mean it's great. Open source releases of engines are always great. Everyone benefits. Even the guys working on Xash3D can benefit and compare to see if there are any inaccuracies or things they could do better. What I personally look forward to however is Source 2 and its development kit. Source 2 is supposed to be free to license (free as in free beer) so long as you sell your game on Steam since it doesn't use any licensed code from third party companies like Source 1 did which used Havok's physics.

      @@sharoyveduchi so, internally at Valve, détestan the existence of Xash3D (especially Early versions) for supplementing code of the 2003 leak of Half-Life 2 and rewritten to work with Goldsrc functions
