I am 60 and remember Dr. Ruth and Richard Simmons well. Not so much Shannon, but I am always sad when people die before old age
Thankyou for the moment of prayer and good thoughts Dana. Everyone suffers with something and sometimes we can't see what it is. Cancer, chronic depression they're both debilitating.
Shannen was exceptionally brave for giving the public her most raw and honest journey. She will be missed but always remembered for future audiences to discover in her iconic roles. Imo, she was THE star of 90210 and Charmed.

It’s wild to me to think about kids going to 3 weeks of summer camp. I’ve heard a few moms from California say this. I’m just curious if that’s common across the U.S. or is it just a pacific coast thing? I’m from Georgia and our summer camps are never longer than 5 or 6 nights? And a lot of parents actually go with to help chaperone
I think it’s an East Coast West Coast thing. For 3 yrs I went for the month of August. My brother and sister (who are 2 yrs apart & 6 & 8 yrs older than I am) went for the whole (July-aug) summer. It used to be very very common. And btw so Fun!

I’ve actually read a bunch of housewife books … also Margaret, Jackie, garcelle, Teresa … I’m sure there are more. Have read Dave Quinn’s book and a couple of Andy cohen’s. I liked all of them! But I’m a bravoholic not a book critic!
