I have lived on the North Shore here in Massachusetts for my entire life. New England is a truly magical place when it comes to the 4 seasons. Each one is distinct and unique. I have considered moving many times, but I am not sure I could live with the mundane madness of a single season. Winter can be long and cold but the peaceful silence of a snow storm is an experience that I look forward to year after year. And just when you get sick of the cold or the heat the next season will roll in with all its relief, joy, beauty and wonder.

First and foremost, you are an amazing filmmaker. Every frame is flawless, which is actually kind of weird... Add to the fact that I grew up in suburban Boston and have lived in Florida for the past 30 years. Where I am currently. This lovely video brought me to a New England nirvana that i didn't realize I had to have. Pure joy.

I was born and raised in New England. Here is a tip for you - ignore the main roads,. Focus on the 2 and 1-1/2 lane back roads. That is where the gems are. Remember to stop at any "General Stores" in small towns. They will surely take you to a magical part of your trip.

Being from the mediterranean coast in Spain, I've barely seen snow twice in my life. Those scenes from winter wonderland are surreal to me. I can't even imagine what's that like in person, other than really freaking cold. Amazing video.

Grew up in Mass. Your videos bring back the memories. Like the weather warning on the radio. We would listen to the radio on school days, and they would announce what was for lunch at school that day. That's when we would find out if school was cancelled because of snow. 😀 Good Times.
love skating,we went skating on canyon ferry( first large reservoir on the Missouri) yesterday afternoon, the wind had polished the ice it was a speed skate day skated over to goose bay about 6 miles round trip the peaks of the tobacco roots and all the ranges lit with alpenglow. and the eagles and tundra swans effortlessly a flight above in a world shared and yet theirs alone.then home driving a moon illuminated snowscape past elk and mule deer herds to our hilltop farming town, winter belatedly settling over Montanas high country
