Theres nothing like the sound and reliability of a B-series. Its the holy grail
Some people act like one way is right for everyone but that’s false. Some people have more access to B parts. Some have more access to K. You go with what makes sense at the time of the build and it can go either way. I love the B in my eg hatch and the K in my 08 Si. Of course the K is more in every way but there are other factors besides stats.
That K20A screaming with that 1-2 shift sounds amazing! Awesome build!

The 1320 exhaust and painting the muffler black and leaving the tip polish definitely gives it the oem + look, love the build and sounds great!

lol, very clean kswap build. It ain't cheap building a car . I have an SI race shell awd as well with 20k+ plus invested in it. yep I don't have time after work with kids . All my parts and shit just sits in boxes and all inside that race shell.
wow i have a 92 si and i want it to be a oem plus like this, it was originally blue but someone painted it phoenix yellow and did a jdm gsr swap. this car is so perfect

Beautiful, that’s a boatload of $$ building it in todays market. And I think the way it sits there are all motor B cars out there that will outrun it. Not many but they exist.
Damn! I’m older now and been trying to find an EG or maybe even a later EK to build for my son. I wanted to build two hatches for my daughters so they could terrorize kids in high school but they wanted trucks :( my son though…. Def a Honda boy like daddy. I have a virgin stock never been touched 96 DC2 GSR but I think EG is def the way to go for him for sure. Totally clean OEM + style. White on SW388 or Mugen RNR’s…. That would be ideal for him I think. The search continues for at least a decent chassis/body but it’s getting harder and harder. This vid is amazing inspiration.
Question......if someone wanted your shop to build them a car, but didn't have the car, would you find them the car they want and then do the build as long as the price was right??

What makes it so cool. Of course the clean craftsmanship. The work is impeccable. The best thing though, it's like you took a DC2-DC5 Type-R and transplanted the soul of those two into the EG. This is like the holy grail if Honda made a EG Type R. I think the lower rear side. Type R badges like the integra has would be a nice touch

I miss banging gears like this in my mini me 94dx coupe back in the day. But I haven't got my 07 8th gen fg2 able to bang second yet. Only drove it a few times and kept getting second gear lock out.
Recently did hybrid racing cables, cmc and slave with a rebuilt trans. Night and day difference, the only thing I would have changed was should have sprung for gear-x of bf gear set.
I can't throw my B series away yet. it has 75k stock original miles. I'm still enjoying it, N if I do go K it's going To look OEM. That bub should be a display in ur shop 😜 Respect she's a 100/1000 🔥🔥🔥🤍

I had a N.A. 230 HP b series in my e.g. hatch. It ran 11s street tires. 205s would chirp going into fifth gear sometimes.
