I show some naval war tactics suited for this asymmetrical build.
After uploading the video I got the Leopold mortar which gave me another 3 points, but this is not enough to reach level 10. Did anyone make it to 10? Please tell me in the comments below.
I am playing with max graphics settings on my Nvidia RTX 4090.

This is not BiS thats equip anything with max power ... not whats best for the Ship.
Actually it is Quadruple AAAA BiS, it is the strongest hull and guns and perfectly suits different scenarios. If I wanted max power I would have put Scurlocks long guns on all slots
@@Shywer i agree, with a good hull (wich gives the most gearscore as a single item) you would be better off with fire bombardII i bow and stern slot, the Luipold mortaler from dmc quest in penjara, and tearing culverines or Mons Meg for the broad sides, dependig if you want additional gear score or focus on playing to the strenghs of the pada. Fire bombard x will push the extra explosiv damage proc chance to 100% due to ablaze status effect and mons meg has +50% siege damage wich also adss to the ablaze damage when you set towers etc afire

i made it to level 10! spirit fire bow, royal custodian armor and long gun4s on all sides of my ship. nothing has been able to survive

Just a tip, remember to brace when you’re ramming another ship or you’re about to get rammed. You’ll take zero damage.

IF you have the brace strength that goes above the damage they would do. js some ships will ram you and you will still take damage but it’s reduced some.
Of course I find this at 1030pm ....and beta ended at 6ugh

Damn 9 thats wild I as rockin level 8 and am super super super set for game release on materials haha. have about 300-500 of each of the first 3 rums to deliver in about 20 hours if game is up right away. NordicVigilante pirate legend!!

Where did you find the Royal Custodian armor?
Could be the Merchant Convoy ... sadly i newer saw players near one and alone its too hard for me.
@@Shywer In that case. I can drop more beautiful ones from convoys after tomorrow.
It's from the merchant convoy if you manage to board them it'll increase your chances of getting the armour

I maxed out enough a while ago for open beta just waiting 24hrs to play more that royal armor though is the only thing barely getting him to 9 😂 everything else everyone has gotten already also not to burst his bubble but other players are already lvl 10 and one guy I saw was 13 idk how he was 13 but he did it. Also all my weapons are not 68 like your they are 75 and up except the mortar because it’s capped at a specific lvl on beta. I farmed legendary and treasure maps to hit ship lvl 10 the second release happens I’ll be on there and probably maxed with my team so hope y’all prosper like I have and Good luck and happy sailing

How do you unlock the 5th slot? I just got the Padewakang ship but it says "No slot available" on the Aux Weapon slot.
You need to craft an aux weapon to go into the slot first. Mortar is the first one you unlock.

How do you get your crew to throw fire bombs? Mine just use their muskets and i dont remember setting that up lol

I had just started gathering the material for this ship and ran out of time
FLooding Demi Cannon is not BIS. The description literally says: When set ablaze.
Even though I was only Rank 8, my set up was:
Bow: Scurlock's Chasers
Port & Starboard: Flooding Demi Cannons 2
Stern: Tearing Culvrines 2
Auxiliary: Mortars
I had based mine off of Scurlock's ship The Margarite, even though his was a Brigantine and not a Padewakang, but still, this set up got me through some serious stuff, I had so much fun hitting them conveys and doing delivery missions for The Helm lol
Thanks for sharing your setup! I was playing a similar one before and look forward to test around some more with different builds. I can imagine that with harder difficulity we will have to adapt more to specific bosses or scenarios in the game.
@@CassimoTV Oh absolutely lol I wasn't too lucky on my Beta run though to get the Royal ship armor. The 1 ship that gave me the most issues was the Maangodin, that damn ghost ship turns on a dime and loooooved using it's Sea Fire Bow weapon, drove me nuts lmao

You can play the game in a couple of hours and test the setup yourself :)
