    Super appreciative of this video and the rest of the channel. Just got a 2018 STI and have been thinking about basically every single mod you have videos for.
    Just got my FPR from IA today (also because of Eric from Torqued) and this video will make it super easy to install

    Hey man great video! Mine just started having the stumble recently and it used to peak at 18psi and now it barely peaks at 9psi, will this fix the boost issue and will I need a tune?

    Love your vids! SO informative! I have a question that I hope you can help me out? I want to install my fpr and boost controll solenoid before taking it to the shop where they are going to install my injectors. I have a DP, intake and Fuel pump install running on stage 2 ots map. My car is just sitting until I take it to the shop and then protune it. If I install the fpr and ebcs, would it make it to the shop without boositng. It is about 10 miles? Thanks!

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 года назад +1

      Ask the shop to send you a map to get the car there. They typically can do that for you. If they do than just don’t get into boost on the way there and everything should be ok :)

    Can you elaborate a bit on how it causes "a lot of problems"? I'm running a 2018 stage 2+ sti and it stutters and surges on both cold and warm startups. It subsides, but I get p0304 code on startup idle. I switched to a cobb fpr and that seems to have made it worse. Either a faulty part or just not enough to make the car happy.

    The cables flipped around twice in the video. The alignment at around the 4:10 mark is not how it is at 5:18. Then again its back to the original linement later in the video when you install the feed line. So which orientation is correct?!

    Did this fix the stubble or was it the tune after the install that fixed the stubble. My tuner says the stubble normally occurs after installing larger injectors not on standard injectors. Great video by the way.

    Hey great video. I have question what set up do you have on your sti and did this fix the stumbling issue?

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 года назад

      Yea this did fix the issue. The main reason I did this is because my tuner recommended it and without it he was having trouble tuning the car properly. And are you wondering my current setup on my car right now or at the time of this video ?

      It might get very close but the car most likely will start running lean trying to hit those numbers on the stock fuel system.

    Does your stumble kit make the grinding/whining sound every time you prime the system before startup?

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 года назад

      It’s makes a little audible whining/priming sound but nothing that bugs me. It could also be my upgraded fuel pump and lines that make the sound more noticeable.

  • @leandropim
    @leandropim 4 года назад

    Some people installs it with a damper on feed line, is it for the noises?

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 года назад +1

      The damper is to smoothen out the fuel flow to and from the engine but that is was causes the fuel stumble on modded STI’s. This kit is redesigned by IA Tuning to eliminate that problem. They use the OEM subaru FPR for this kit as well.
