Same here. When this podcast came out I had just found out that my brother only had a little while to live and they were sending him home with hospice, well we were trying to arrange it. He is only 31 and not just my only friend but my only brother. My whole fucking world was falling apart but I needed to stay strong for him, dealing with trying to get him out and stuff. Just walking down the damn hall I wanted to collapse. Anyway, I put my ear phones in, turned on this episode and just felt better somehow. This episode kept me so many times from falling apart when I needed to be a rock. Laughter is the best medicine sometimes. There was something about this episode that was really special, especially the beginning with the Santana song, which they seemed to have cut out.
Well, thanks Joey for such a great gift you gave me, and us, with this podcast. My brother died a few days later at home. It sounds silly maybe, dealing with such a heavy thing, but I was a better person for my brother because you helped me laugh when I needed it most
...because of this podcast giving me an escape from the hell I was going through.

God damn man it makes me so happy that you guys have podcasts. The Church gives me motivation, The Joe Rogan Experience gives me social stimulation, and Deathsquad is all just fun shit. My friends suck dick. These podcasts are way more endearing to me than them. Please keep this shit up, it really helps.
Couldn't agree more man. It's great that we can connect to like minded people through the internet, but it also sucks not having a real social life that you actually enjoy. Though things like this do have the benefit of showing us that there are people out there that I would actually like to hang out with. One day I'll have "cool" friends that I can connect and laugh with.
